I needed to expand the single USB-C port on my laptop to use multiple legacy USB-A devices. Like it or not, USB-A is going to be around for a long time, especially if, like me, you have a lot of legacy devices. Please note that this hub is not intended for high power devices or charging. The aluminum build feels sleek and sturdy and I love having the SD/TF card reader and a 3.5mm audio output all within easy reach. Some people have complained that the cord to the computer was to short (5 inches). I like it short, that way it sits close to the computer and I don’t have to figure out what to do the with extra cord. A great product at a great price!
