Amazing Sound Quality and Premium Design
I’m extremely satisfied with the Marshall Acton III Bluetooth speaker. The sound quality is outstanding — rich bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. It fills the room beautifully without distortion, even at higher volumes. The design is classic and stylish, just like a real Marshall amplifier, making it a great addition to my living room. Bluetooth pairing was quick and easy, and the connection is very stable. This speaker is perfect for music, movies, and even small gatherings. It feels very well-built and definitely worth the price. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium home speaker with great sound and iconic looks.

Amazing Sound and Iconic Design
Excellent speaker with powerful, clear sound and deep bass for its size. The design is stylish and classic, and it looks great in any room. Easy to connect via Bluetooth, and the controls are very intuitive. High-quality build and truly impressive audio performance. Worth every penny.

Wonderful!
Perfect. Absolutely beautiful and aesthically pleasing. The cream and gold combo is brilliantly designed.I come home, turn on music and the bluetooth is always ready. Zero fuss. Never had an issue.Simple, minimalistic, nothing complicated. Oh yeah, the sound is always loud enough for me, and plenty of bass. This is as much an art masterpiece as it is a great speaker. It has an app, but I like the fact that it’s not actually required because I like fewer apps and ease of use.

Big sound, little box
This speakers sounds amazing, with a rich sound that more than fills a room. It looks great and doesn’t take up much space making it easy to move around from room to room. Even though it is easy to move around, I would not consider this to be portable since it does not have a battery. The Marshall app is easy to use for the initial setup, however is not need for continual use. The sound can be adjusted using the beefy knows as well as the volume. The volume control responds to the volume buttons on my phone, which is what I am playing music from the majority if the time

Absolute powerhouse
It’s a powerhouse in a tiny house! Back in the day, we all wanted to play through a Marshall stack because it was big, it was loud, it was clean, it was everything you could ever want for a stage amp. I don’t know how they did it, but they got that big stage amp inside this little box! The bluetooth connected easier and faster than any other bluetooth product I have! The app automatically downloaded to my phone, which was cool, too. The only thing I would suggest is a carry handle.

Highly recommend
I recently purchased the Marshall Acton III Bluetooth Speaker in Cream, and here’s my detailed review based on my experience:Design and Build QualityThe Marshall Acton III immediately impresses with its classic, iconic design. The cream-colored finish gives it a modern yet vintage look that fits seamlessly into any home or office decor. The gold accents on the control knobs, speaker grill, and logo provide a nice contrast to the cream, adding a touch of elegance without being over-the-top. It feels like a high-quality product, and the solid construction reflects Marshall’s reputation for durable, premium audio gear. It’s compact but powerful, easily fitting on a shelf or tabletop without taking up too much space, yet still delivering rich, full sound. I also appreciate the rubber feet on the bottom that keep the speaker stable and prevent it from sliding around when adjusting the volume or playing music.Sound QualityThe sound quality is definitely where the Marshall Acton III shines. Despite its relatively small size, this speaker offers excellent, balanced sound. I was particularly impressed with the bass—it’s deep and punchy without being overpowering, which is important for a small speaker like this. The mids are clear and articulate, making vocals and instrumentals sound natural, while the treble is crisp but not harsh. Whether I’m listening to rock, pop, or even classical music, the sound is always full, rich, and immersive. The stereo sound is impressive, and the speaker can fill a decent-sized room without losing clarity or becoming distorted, even at higher volumes. Low distortion and high volume capabilities make this speaker perfect for parties or gatherings, and I never feel like the audio breaks down under pressure.Bluetooth and ConnectivitySetting up the Bluetooth connection was incredibly easy. I had it up and running within minutes, and the connection stays strong and stable even at a fair distance. The range is solid, and I didn’t experience any dropouts during usage. This is ideal if you’re moving around the room or want to control your music without being tethered to the speaker. You can also connect the speaker using a wired connection, thanks to the 3.5mm auxiliary input, which is great for those who want to connect devices without Bluetooth. Multi-device pairing is a feature that allows you to easily switch between devices, and the dedicated buttons for Bluetooth control are intuitive to use.Control and FunctionalityThe top panel is equipped with a set of analog control knobs for volume, bass, and treble, which I really appreciate. These knobs give you precise control over the sound and let you customize the audio to your preference. The controls feel smooth and tactile, and they add a nice retro touch to the speaker. There’s also a power switch on the back, which is simple to use. It would be great to have a more intuitive way of turning it off (e.g., through the app), but it’s a minor issue considering the speaker’s other strengths.Battery LifeThe battery life isn’t relevant for this model, as it needs to be plugged in for use. However, that’s not a drawback at all, as this speaker is designed for stationary use, whether in your living room or on a desk. Its ability to connect to power without worrying about battery life is a plus for consistent, long-term listening.Price and ValueThe Marshall Acton III is certainly a premium speaker, so it’s priced higher than many other Bluetooth speakers on the market. That said, considering the build quality, sound performance, and the classic Marshall aesthetic, I feel like it offers great value for money. You’re paying for both the sound and the iconic design, which makes it a worthwhile investment for anyone who values both.ConclusionOverall, the Marshall Acton III Bluetooth Speaker in Cream is a stellar product. It offers an impressive sound quality, sleek design, and reliable Bluetooth connectivity. The analog controls give it a retro, tactile feel, while the solid construction ensures it’s built to last. It’s perfect for anyone who enjoys listening to high-quality audio in a compact, stylish package. If you’re someone who appreciates both form and function and is willing to invest a bit more for a speaker that’s both visually appealing and offers great sound, the Marshall Acton III is definitely worth considering. My only real issue with it is the lack of a built-in battery, but for home use, that’s not a huge dealbreaker.Highly recommended for those who want both performance and style in their audio setup!

Best on the Market
I’m replacing original Acton with new one. The old one stopped working after about 5 years. I’m taking the repair cost and putting it towards a new one. New feature include LED light around controls to indicate settings. Good in the dark. Simplified mating with input device. Seemingly better bass. Lower and thumpy. This one of the best on the market. No cheap plastic here. Wood box. Retro styling. Looks like Marshall guitar amp. Taking off a star for early crap out.

Not the best speaker but works good enough with MacBook with auxiliary.Basses are not bad but sound quality almost good.

Like most of us, I’ve dabbled with battery-powered bluetooth speakers over the past decade or so. Of these, perhaps the *highest* rating I would give would be 3/5, and that only because of their portability. But recently with 25 of us in a room for a big screen Zoom call for a series of lectures, I needed a compact (low profile) speaker of more substance. THIS speaker has more substance–oh yeah. From the on switch that feels like you’re powering up a 747 (a gold-plated version with an oak-trimmed captain’s chair and sterling silver service), a quality AUX (input) connection (so I could use bluetooth for microphones), to the hefty dials, the subtle red lights, and the absolutely great looking case, this Marshall Acton III was the cream on the coffee for my AV setup. The sound was robust and very clear, carrying all through the 40×20 space. Mind you, the bass was heavy, but setting it to 1 while cranking the treble to 10 enabled it to broadcast even the quietest, ‘mumblingest’ person on Zoom very clearly. I bought a bright red 16ft audio cable that looked terrific plugged into the unit (red also makes for a good visual safety cue to prevent tripping over the cable). Now my bootooth (as typed) speakers are relegated to the drawer–this guy is going to remain front and centre. Strong recommend.
