Powerful wireless charger.
Almost perfect holder. There is always something that isn’t perfect (more on that below). I got this charger/phone holder for my Rav4. The air vent holder fits well in the passenger (or driver) vent. One thing that I had a hard time with was getting the metal hook to grab the vent. That is because I kept insisting on placing it such that the hook was facing down as I was trying to get it to grab. After failing a few times, I decided to turn the hook so that the hook was facing up, and I inserted it below the slat. That did it, and got it to the correct angles. The holder has it’s own power adapter for your car, and it is likely that you will need it. It puts out up to 45W to power the non-contact charger and fan. My car does not put out enough power and I get a notice on my infotainement screen regarding the charger requiring power beyond what my port puts out. It feels strong, and once adjusted and tightened, it will stay in place well.Once set up and plugged in, there is a small, green light that tells you the charger is ready. Once you place your phone on the holder, it will automatically start wireless charging on supported phones. My Samsung supports it, and automatically starts charging at “fast charge” rates. This thing is very convenient.Now, the not so perfect part. The holder will hold on to my phone case with or without the pop-socket. I find this very convenient because I tend to forget the pop socket when I remove it. However, the phone will only charge if I take the pop-socket off. Minor inconvenience, just something that I wish would be overcome.Knowing what I know now, would I have purchased this item: Absolutely. The drawback of having to take the pop-socket off is minimal the fast charge is very convenient without having to worry about cords to my phone.
