I haven’t used wireless charging since Samsung first came out with it. I still have my original wireless charger. always thought it needed a lot of work. well, this year I upgraded to a s26 ultra and watch ultra. the new wireless charging with mags is awesome and super-fast compared to what it used to be. easy attach and detach and works like a charm. I will def use this going forward and enjoy not hammering on the charger port. 100 percent recommend

I struggled to get it to reach its promised speed
I almost returned this Samsung wireless charger, because at the beginning it didn’t reach the promised “super fast charging speed” consistently (that is, for more than a couple of minutes). Some reviewers have said that you need to use a Samsung case for reaching the super fast wireless charging speed with their s26 ultra, but that has not been my experience. I am using an Otterbox Sole case and at the beginning the phone usually reached their “super fast wireless charge” as long as the adapter had enough wattage, but after a couple of minutes it dropped to a half or even a fifth of the promised speed, so charging the phone completely with this Samsung charger became up to three times slower than using my 5-year-old 15W wireless stand. Samsung pairs this charger with a 45W adapter, which I don’t own, so I tried several adapters capable of that power, including two laptop adapters that were 65W capable, but I had no luck.Fortunately, at the end I was finally able to solve the problem by using a relatively new 45W Anker changer adapter that supports PPS, PD 3.0, and Samsung super fast charging 2.0 feature. However, it is important to note that even with the correct adapter, one will need perfect alignment of the magnets to reach the promised speed, so many of the “Magsafe compatible” stands in the market will not work. In fact, it seems to me that the charger works better without being encased, so I have decided to use it with the cheapest stand possible: a plastic 2-leg stand that leaves the back of my phone almost entirely free, so I can connect the wireless charger directly.Given that this charger does what was promised but Samsung has not been transparent regarding the limitations of the technology and it has not given us early adopters all the information we need to make good decisions in our purchases without a lot of unnecessary try and error, I give this charger 4 stars.

Great charger!
Charges well, and doesn’t heat up the phone at all, unlike every other magsafe charger I’ve tried.
