Turn on the base LOCK before adjusting the angle.I had an issue with installation as it was not a good fit with my car at first. it worked just not ideal. They contacted me and verified my vehicle and had a solution. All of this quickly. I use this to watch tv on a 12.5” iPad……holds it easy and securely, I wouldn’t drive with it on the holder but good enough when stationary, doesn’t charge wirelessly but still perfect. Suction to the window is amazing!!
