Great Kitchen Garlic Press
I’ve used many styles of garlic presses! This style is by far my favorite. The amount of garlic produced using this tool is significant and it simple to remove garlic and clean the press. The stainless one is the best design. A kitchen must have!

Needs something to make cleaning easier
I am giving this item only 4 stars because 1. I love the easiness of crushing the garlic the peeler works great when not wet. The knife thing is great for scraping the garlic off the press. However some garlic gets wasted because it gets stuck in the holes. I wish there was a plastic base that had spikes to put the press on to push the garlic stuck in the holes out, that would make cleaning much easier and no wasted food.

This garlic press is a great idea but is a complete failure. I am always on the lookout for a good garlic press that is designed properly so that it can be used by an older woman and not just a strong man.The problem with this press is that the holes are too small, but you also don’t have the leverage that you would with a squeeze-style press. It’s completely useless. Oh well.Bonny, an inexpensive kitchenware company, made the best garlic press ever. It was white enamel, small, good size holes, and powerful enough to make it easy to use, but they don’t make it anymore. So, happy hunting.

Worth a try.
I think it is just another way to crush garlic that isn’t necessarily an improvement over a well-made, sturdy squeeze model. It takes some force that some of us may not be able to exert. Garlic tends to slip. Cleaning is easy for those that use a toothbrush to poke into the holes as it is being washed. Squeeze models work fine if you use only a small piece of garlic with each squeeze. Cleaning them the same way works well. My crusher had a sharp burr on the edges. I sanded it with wet and dry sandpaper that took all of a full minute. You definitely want to remove the skins before the crush because you will not notice any bad spots if you don’t. Yuck!

A Tool for learning more than anything else.
Functional. I did not purchase this for myself, I got it to help my son to start cooking. It’s let’s stress for all of us as he doesn’t really have knife skills.I feel like this is a good tool for someone who isn’t really comfortable in the kitchen.. the roller makes peeling the garlic skins easy. The rocker while functional will not replace knife skills. You need a brush clean out the press, but it’s easy enough to clean.

Ineffective and worthless item – total waste of money
I use a lot of minced garlic and thought this would be a quick and efficient way to mince several cloves quickly. Wrong! To start, it proved difficult to press through cloves, requiring a surprising amount of pressure to crush them. The cloves tended to slip from one side or another and from either end and avoid the crusher altogether. When you do succeed in crushing a clove, only one side is crushed, leaving the other side intact adhering to the crusher. So little product was actually minced that I had to do it all over with a knife. It doesn’t really mince it anyway – more like a regular garlic press, but less efficient.The surface of the crusher doesn’t have the sharp edges of a grater so it does not grip or cut the clove at all. It is built much like a potato masher, but with smaller openings, and a curved surface that pushes cloves away rather than crushing them. Total piece of garbage – actually I recycled it because I didn’t want to give it to Goodwill and pass it on to another unsuspecting soul. Great concept but the reality was very disappointing. Back to the drawing board.

Works well
This works well for me since my hands are bad, and using a regular garlic press was difficult. It’s very sturdy and well made. It minces the garlic well. I would recommend it.

As it’s described- it is robust and sturdy- I’ve had lots of garlic crushers and this is the best one yet, so easy to use and more importantly easy to clean no hidden crevices. Would recommend to anyone

Garlic Press Rocker Heavy Duty Stainless Steel – Very sharp edges, you can easily cut skin. If you can fix sharp edges, can be used, does the work, but safety is a big concern .
