Impressive value, easy installation, stylish look
UPDATE: we’ve now been using this same cover for 4 years and it is as good as the day we bought it! I added a video review to show you what 4 years looks like. Highly recommend this product.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Our deck was unbearably hot during Summer days until we found this shade. It has exceeded all expectations. We have had it installed for 3 weeks now and during that time we have had two hard rains and even a hail storm. The shade had no ill effects after the weather. I couldn’t be happier with this shade solution. It is stylish and durable.Regarding installation, I bought about $15 worth of hardware at Home Depot to install the shade under the eaves (see pictures). With two people, it took us less than an hour to install. In hindsight, I might have chosen a beefier turnbuckle and eyehole (maybe 3/8″) because the shade withstands an amazing amount of tension but I am happy with the installation. The two things I would note is (1) the attachment point dimension is 6″ greater than the advertised shade dimension and (2) I opened the turnbuckles all the way to allow for maximum ability to tension it in the future if the shade should stretch. I placed the 4 screw-in eyelets at points separated to account for the extra 6″ for the shade attachment measurement plus about 4″ for the turnbuckle (12′-10″ x 16′-10″). It was very tight to get the last two corners attached. I threaded a rope through the corner eyelet and the mounting eyehole and pulled down to draw it tight while my partner attached the turnbuckle hook and then we tensioned each corner.

Pretty decent product. But you have to have some stout poles or something to anchor them to. I don’t use mine anymore but if you want a temporary shade then put some poles in the ground and it will work.

Great turquoise shade!
Great color! I purchased the turquoise shade in spring 2021. The color is still as vibrant as day one. I leave this up from late spring through fall or once the leaves really start to fall. It’s been up though high winds, heavy rain, no issues at all. It did minimally stretch out but only by inches so not a huge deal. I will definitely buy another when the time comes but looks like it should last awhile.

What a difference a shade makes!
We bought this in yellow for our atrium. Easy to install after we bought hardware to hang it from our local hardware store. It is pretty and practical and saves us a fortune for our power bill as the sun no longer beats down and heats up our house. We have only had it up for a few months so I can not say how long it will last.

Quality Product
Quality product and I hung it for shade over my swimming pool. It would have been nice to get some instructions, insight, info on proper installation. There was nothing in the box. What I found is it stretches out over several days and takes a great deal of tension to properly install.

Lasted 1.5 years in full CA sun, but Seller replaced due to warranty!
Bought this to cover a large cement area in our backyard so my toddler could play outside in some shade. It stayed up for a year and a half, and then all the sudden, ripped down in the rain (we get very little rain here in CA). When I took it down, the whole fabric just fell apart – probably due to being in the sun every day for over a year. The seller replaced the item via photos, and I am waiting for the new shade to arrive. I’m hoping it will last longer this time so we don’t have to be so wasteful and throw it away, but the shade is worth it!
