EXCELLENT product
Got one of these to cover an ornamental fish pond. The idea was to keep leaves – and HERONS – out of the pond. Searched through all the offerings on Amazon and decided on this brand based on what looked like quality construction and the generous amount of grommets. Although my expectations were high, I was still VERY impressed with the quality of the product. So much so that I turned around and bought this one in 10×15 for a shade cover on the back deck.For those of you who are interested in shade covers but are stymied by the issue of “how to hang it”, be aware that there are outfits that sell couplings for steel electrical conduit. This is both strong and light and comparatively inexpensive. With these couplings (NOT the standard couplings used for electrical applications) which are designed for construction, fabrication of your frame is (again, relatively) cheap and easy. The average DIYer can do it pretty much blindfolded.

So worth it
Keeps the wall with most sun on my condo 15 degrees cooler in the summer. Held up against multiple storms with rain, high winds, although I have noticed it is less taught. Great for privacy as well with natural light showing through.

I’m very pleased with the way the sun shade works, it doesn’t hold the rain like our other one did. I also bought the smaller one as we loved the first one as it did what it is made for.

Good, Not Great
The fabric itself is good quality and just like the ShaTex brand. The reinforcement around the edges and grommets is not impressive. ShaTex brand is far superior in my opinion. The size and installation are fine. Included are some zip ties that are not worth bothering with. Just buy heavier ones. The thing is – this brand is less expensive and a little longer. Honestly, I think I would rather have the one that may (or may not) last longer.The full side of the carport is well covered with the size I bought. The light-colored zip tie is the is a replacement. The close-up of the grommets are the two different brands of shade cloths. Finally, the black zip tie is so tiny I could have broken it and I’m old.If this one lasts as long as the other brand I have, I will be surprised and it’s only because of the grommets.I wrote this after I put up the shade cloth which was around the 20th of November. Today I noticed one of the grommets has already torn out. My suspicions were right.

This is a the best I’ve tried by far
The best! I Have to leave a review because we go through so many shade cloths and this one is the best. I will buy more. this is far and above better quality and more. It’s a nice thick cloth with double grommets at the corners ,where they usually pull out, it came with zip ties, and heavy ?(like heavy duty shoe string?) AND these great bungees that have a clip on the end. I’m very impressed and will order more of these! Just bought two more

Grommets pulled out of shade cloth after an hour in light wind
The seams/grommets are NOT reinforced with nylon webbing. The MFG just folded and sewed the shade cloth and installed the grommets.What this means is that after installing it, tied to full length cables on the long sides, then attached with a carabiner on the corners and on every other grommet on the 20 ft sides, the grommets were tearing their way through the shade cloth in light wind after about an hour of use.This was purchased to replace a shade cloth that had lasted many years in the same location. It had nylon webbing sewn into the edges the grommets were installed into.Avoid this product and any other that does not have reinforced edges.

Good garden shade
This shade works well to protect your plants from the harsh rays of the sun when it’s very hot outside.It is very durable and does not cut easy.The size is perfect of course you can pick any size that you need.And because of the grommets all around it’s easy to attach it to any poles or fence or any lanyards with carabiners.I think it was a very good investment and will help protect my plants for the long run.It is good for shade I would say for plants but for sitting outside underneath of it if you really can’t stand the heat then I wouldn’t use this as something for your patio you’re still going to feel the heat from the Sun.It is also not waterproof so it makes it perfect for a garden.I would highly recommend this product.

The shade itself was as expected and has performed well, I only had cable ties with my purchase and they were very small and seemed of low quality.
