Why does it show a network connection failure?
1. The Boifun video doorbell only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and cannot connect to 5GHz Wi-Fi. Please try switching your network.
2. Weak Wi-Fi signal due to distance. Install the doorbell closer to your Wi-Fi router.
Can the doorbell camera be installed on my door?
The Boifun doorbell supports two installation methods:
1. Double-sided adhesive – Suitable for smooth, flat surfaces like doors or walls.
2. Wall-mounted with screws – Ideal for rough or uneven walls.
Note: Accessories included. Check black box.
Does the doorbell camera support wired installation?
No. The Boifun doorbell camera is wireless and battery-powered. Simply recharge the battery when it runs out of power.
How to improve the battery life performance?
1. Set the recording time to normally 20-30s which is enough for daily needs.
2. Lower down the “Motion Detection” sensitivity or open the “Human Motion Detection” function.
3. Adjust the angle of the doorbell to avoid unnecessary activation.
Does it support SD card storage?
Yes. The Boifun doorbell camera supports SD card storage (up to 128GB, SD card not included) and cloud storage.
Use the included pin to remove the doorbell via the small hole at the bottom, then insert the SD card into the slot on the right side.

Best bang for your buck at great quality video and camera build- one of my best buys of the year.
I don’t write reviews often, and certainly don’t write them for products I don’t like- so believe me when I say that this camera is worth the money I paid for it- and more. The quality of the doorbell camera itself, as well as the video it records, blows my mind for this price range. I cannot imagine having to spend at least twice as much for an Amazon Ring, or something else of the sort, when this kind of product is out on the market. Installation was so easy, and so was pairing- didn’t even break a sweat getting it all set up.The livestream does take a bit of time to load when I’m getting into the app to see what’s been going on, but really, it’s just a 5-10 second wait. Really not that big of a deal, and once it’s loaded, everything’s pretty smooth and fast enough upon selection. The camera will automatically format an SD card inserted into it, as long as the SD card is compatible, and I can record on it without having to pay a subscription fee. If I wanted to use the Cloud subscription, though, it’s only several dollars a month! The night vision and quality of the night-time video is also very usable, and the battery life is surprising me every day (having been already 2 weeks at least since installation, the battery is still at about 85%)! I use it primarily as a door camera, but have experienced what it’s like as a doorbell- seamless execution.Truly, I would recommend this doorbell camera to anyone looking for excellent quality at an excellent price.

Very impressed with this doorbell camera! It was easy to install. The app is easy to use and the picture quality is A-1. I’m able to connect to it quickly from my phone when I’m not home. The motion detection is spot on as well! Very good product for the money

Works just as intended
It was easy to set up and works pretty well. The video footage is nice and clear and the speaker to talk through is also very clear. It connected to the WiFi easily and I like how it alerts me of someone being at the door and if someone rings the bell I have the choice to answer and talk to them as if it was a phone call. Pretty nifty.

Good product for the price
Great investment. This video doorbell does the job. Easy set up and quality of the video is good. I love the fact that you don’t have to pay a subscription which is the main reason I purchased it. I put in a 126 GB SD card for storage. You do have the option to upgrade to the cloud system for extra monthly fee. I like the fact that I have the option and it’s not required. Overall, it’s a great product that is inexpensive. This would be great for people that in apartments, condos, or mobile units. I did purchase an anti-theft mount and works just fine. Great deal for under $40 bucks. Highly recommend.

This microSD card video doorbell might be the best one out there!
Awesome product and awesome price! I replaced my Ring doorbell due to concerns privacy. I wanted a video doorbell that did not require cloud storage, and this one with a 128GB microSD card (purchased separately) was the perfect choice. Set up and installation was a breeze, but I think the instructions could have been clearer or ordered differently so that the description of how to remove the mounting plate was the first thing presented. Sharing the doorbell for alerts with other family members was easy. All the have to do is install the app, create an account (don’t set up any devices), then you scan their QR code (they get it in the app) in the app and it invites them to share. Easy to add and share additional cameras, and you can choose which cameras to share to whom. Also the included chime can be paired with multiple Boifun doorbells or multiple chimes can be paired to a single or multiple doorbells. Neat feature. Motion detection works great and is fast to alert you, and I haven’t gotten any false alerts. You will get motion notification before the person rings the bell which is great. The picture quality is noticeably better than my Ring doorbell. The security voice changing feature is nice and also amusing. I can’t recommend this highly enough. I like this so much I bought the J7 doorbell with the super wide angle lens as well!

I strongly suggest that if you are purchasing this camera you should get it here! I am sure you can find this camera at more than one place on Amazon and you would not go wrong purchasing this camera. It really is a fine doorcam…great picture quality, no subscriptions, easy to set up. So why am I suggesting you buy it here? It’s because of their absolutely great customer service!At first I thought I had a problem with the camera and sent an email to Biofun, never really expecting a meaningful reply. Not only did they reply we exchanged several emails trying to find why the camera kept shutting down over varying periods of time. These folks promised i would be mailed a new one if they couldn’t figure out the problem. After numerous back-and-forth emails they figured I had a signal issue with my WiFi causing uneven spikes .. this even though it was showing a more than satisfying strength signal. They then decided to send me a WiFi extender free. If that doesn’t work they promise to send me a new camera.. I will know the results soon.. I never expected such caring and helpful customer service. Get this camera here even if the camera works fine. If you need help they will text with you immediately and if you don’t then maybe some other venders will get the message about how important customer service is.

Does what I wanted
Took a few tries to get it setup. I’m not tech savvy so it took a few tries to understand why the setup kept failing. The directions didn’t have a troubleshooting guide for my problems. It eventually worked. The placement was easy. Video is clear. The battery life seems to be reasonable, about a week or so between charges. It does what I wanted. No frills and easy to operate.

This is a good bit of kit for the price. The picture is clear and motion sensitive. The SD card is a must if you want to be able to view videos of activation.It’s simple an easy to use.Improvements would be moveable mount or camera angle but this meets my needs well.

Nous avions un soucis sur le carillon reçu qui n’arrivait pas a se connecter avec la sonnette. 2 jours après signalement au SAV et ayant essayé des reconfiguration via des conseils très détaillés + vidéo, nous avons reçu un nouveau colis dans la boîte aux lettres. Ho deciso di acquistare questo prodotto, perché ho preso delle telecamere solari da esterno dello stesso brand e mi sono trovato davvero molto bene, per cui ho deciso di provare anche questo prodotto. Dopo averlo provato in tutte le sue funzioni descritte, ora posso fare sicuramente una recensione obiettiva. Buona la confezione: è arrivato davvero ben confezionato, la scatola aveva anche un involucro di plastica trasparente esterno e dentro c’è tutto quel che serve. Viti, tasselli, biadesivo e, un pin per smontare il case esterno. Il case si smonta solo con questo accessorio, sennò non si può smontare, questo dovrebbe dissuadere i malintenzionati dallo smontarlo. Ha un design molto piacevole che si adatta a tutti gli stili, moderno e non. Installazione super veloce e molto semplice, servono davvero 5 minuti. Dopo averlo collegato al wifi e configurato e, fatto il collegamento all’app, ho collegato anche il ripetitore in casa, ne ho provato tutte le funzioni. La visione dalla videocamera del citofono è perfetta. Si vede tutto, si ha un ottima visuale e il campo visivo è davvero notevole. Il PIR funziona bene e si attiva ogni volta che vede anche un piccolo movimento, dandone comunicazione tramite notifica. Il suono della suoneria del campanello si può modificare e impostare anche il volume. La notifica quando il campanello suona viene ricevuta immediatamente, e si può rispondere dal cellulare anche se si è assenti, come se ci si trovasse in casa. Personalmente lo trovo un ottimo acquisto, soprattutto perché il rapporto qualità-prezzo è molto alto. Lo posso tranquillamente consigliare e chi ha esigenze uguali a quelle da me richieste. Ottimo acquisto.
