Cuts well, but has major flaws.
I want to like this. It works well when assembled, blades are sharp and varied in size and shape. That’s the good.The bad however, is that is not possible to store all of the blades IN the unit and it is dangerous to try as you WILL cut yourself – so the blades must be stored separately and dangerously. Secondly – the housing is already cracking and I haven’t even had it a month. It hasn’t been mishandled or dropped, it’s cracking from regular use (maybe 5 times). Completely unacceptable for something that costs $40.
I bought for a gift and only 3 pairs were in the package. I’m not sure how this could be corrected. Thank you Brenda Williamson –

Stuck after first use
Item worked fine but now we can not change the chopper slice type. Tried pulling it out with needle nose pliers. Still won’t come out. So we can only use the French fry setting. Bummer

Looks exactly as pictured.Super sharp – be sure to use carefully, not for kids. Of course this needs to be sharp to work, but just know before you use it that if you so much as touch the blade, it will cut your finger.I got this for fries – and it does work – some things to know. I have the other popular chopper style and I use that a lot for dicing veggies for meals like soups – however, that doesn’t have the height needed for decent length fries – this does. One thing to note, if you just set the potato on end, it tries to tip, so you need to push it carefully onto the blade so it will stand up, before putting the top on and pushing – but do so carefully, because the blade is so sharp, you don’t want to rush this, or before you know it you will make a mistake and you will be going for bandages!The rubbery bottom is good and grips the counter well. Doing fries, you can do one or maybe 2 potatoes before you have to open it and empty it. It takes a bit of a wiggle/pull, so it’s not super fast to empty – for a large group like ours, I wish it were faster, but it chops so fast compared to a knife, that it’s worth it.Chops items like onions and carrots too. If you don’t want to push as hard, cut the item smaller first. I haven’t used it for apples and such yet.It is nice that the extra blades and pushers all fit inside the unit and box – a tight fit, but it stores altogether and isn’t bulky.If you chop stuff a lot, it is a time saver! (but I wouldn’t use it for one carrot or one apple, because cleaning a knife is faster. I haven’t put it in the dishwasher, so I’m not sure how well that works.
