Got this adapter today and it works great! I like the ethernet hub because at times at home i would rather be hardwired than wireless. Having extra usb ports is nice to have since most laptops have few usb ports and not everything I want to run on computer is wireless!

Works well. I had bought a cheaper Ethernet-USB adapter that was junk and died after a few months, unfortunately out of warranty. This one seems much better built and worked great from the start. A plus feature is that it works with both standard USB or USB-C ports.

I needed this because I purchased a new laptop that only had 2 USB 3.0 ports and I needed another. Laptop does have 2 USB-C ports, more on those in a minute. Laptop also didn’t have an ethernet port and I needed one of those as well. One of the USB ports was used for a wireless mouse and when plugged directly into the port on the laptop it functions perfectly. However I have 2 other work related items that need to plug into the laptop via USB connections and I wanted to plug one of those directly into the laptop because it HAS to work perfectly. So I’m using the adapter for the mouse and for the other item. Plugged into the adapter the mouse doesn’t work unless I can get the adapter aligned just so. If it gets jostled and moved even slightly the mouse won’t function. It’s extremely frustrating and annoying. Adapter seems otherwise fine and sturdy, looks nice as well but something in the in the cable or USB connection isn’t quite right. Maybe I just got a glitchy one because most of the reviews seem pretty good.EditReturned the original adapter and Amazon sent me another just like it. The second one functions perfectly as per most of the other reviews. Problem solved quickly and Iām really happy with the product so Iāve updated the stars to 5.

When All Else Fails
Delivered in 1 day. Plugged into USB 3.0 port on a brand new high end HP Win 11 laptop.Nothing happened. Strange. Adapter light was on however. Disabled WiFi. No joy. Then I thought maybe the driver. Nope. I said ok, I’m going to bypass the router and switch and go straight to the Cisco Firewall. No packet light. Hum. It couldn’t be. Took the Cat 6 that was removed new from the package and put it on the tester. Bad brand new ethernet cable! Grabbed a new cable.. bam, full speed. Windows saw it and installed a driver automatically and off to the races. Happy now! Use the USB 3.0 ports or your speed will be about half.

Klein, schlank, 3 mal USB-A und Gigabit Ethernet. OK, was wirklich fehlt wƤre halt eine USB-C-Buchse…. aber da sind wir dann technisch (PD, display- etc.) und preislich dann auch gleich in einer anderen Preisklasse. Vielleicht wƤre ein SD- oder microSD-Kartenslot noch schƶn gewesen. Die Steckerlƶsung mit integrierten “USB-C zu USB-A Adapter” funktioniert problemlos – wie lange das Plastikdingelchen den USB-A-Aufsatz bei Nichtbenutzung/ Rum-Baumeln sicher am USB-C-Stecker hƤlt ist halt so eine Frage… Man sollte noch erwƤhnen, dass das Kabel nicht sonderlich flexibel und arg kurz ist… ein weicheres, lƤngeres Kabel wĆ¼rde das Verstauen in der Tasche bei Nichtbenutzung UND das platzieren neben dem Notebook auf dem Tisch beim Einsatz deutlich vereinfachen! Aber ist halt eben auch eher so die “preisgĆ¼nstigere” GerƤteklasse… wir brauchen ƶfter solche Dinger, da die bei uns regelmƤĆig beim “Einpacken” der Notebooks verloren/vergessen/liegen gelassen werden…

ReƧu en temps et en heure.Pour le moment, je n’ai pu tester que la prise RJ45 (C’Ć©tait pour Ƨa que je l’achetais) et pas de souci.Ća fonctionne nickel. Test dĆ©bit Ć 900Mb/s pour du 1000 max, c’est plus que correct.Pas vu de diffĆ©rence entre USB C et USB A.Par contre, j’ai eu des perturbations avec mon dongle souris branchĆ© Ć cĆ“tĆ© (dĆ©connexion de la souris).Maintenant plus qu’Ć voir la longĆ©vitĆ©
