A More Economical Product
I purchased these bulbs to replace the Ring bulbs and the Ring Hub. The Ring equipment was fine, even worked with Alexa, they are just too expensive. The Amazon Basics bulbs are half the cost, and no hub. They also seem to respond faster to “on/off and % dim”. The setup was easy. I’ve been using them every day since 26 November 25 on an Alexa+ routine that turns them on and off at 6:30 AM to 8AM and again 6:30 PM to 1:00AM.I delay any review I write until I use the item for a while and these bulbs just work.

Works great, easy to program
I bought one to try it out, and we love the ability to tell Alexa turn the light on/off. Our lamp is in a far corner of the room, so when we turn it off at night we try not to trip on furniture on the way out of the room. We don’t have to do that anymore, and it’s great! I’d like it to be a little brighter though, as the soft white of this bulb is a little too yellowish. I’ll definitely use more of these light around the house now.

Perfect for a low cost light solution
These are the perfect smart light bulbs. I tried a “name brand” and really struggled to keep them connected to Alexa. When I received these, they almost set themselves up. All you have to do is tell Alexa to find them. They provide plenty of light in the room with a bright white color. Great value for the money.

Easy to connect but.. will not work in all fixtures.
Easiest bulbs to set up and connect. For that they are 5 stars. The Alexa app finds them easily, you rename, set into groups and done! However, these bulbs would not screw in and work (not light up) to a fixture in my bathroom. Other smart bulbs (and dumb ones too) will turn on in the fixture. None of the 4 in the pack would work there but will in other fixtures and lamps so I switched them out.

Let there be light!
Alexa…light on. Alexa…light off. When I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bath room, I would walk in the dark to get to the light switch. NOW instead of stumbling around like an idiot in the dark, I simply say, “Alexa light on.” The light comes on instantly! When I get back into bed I say, Alexa light off. Brilliant invention, extremely easy to set-up. Stop fumbling around in the middle of night and get yourself a smart bulb! You’ll love it!!!

Initial connection difficulties, but great product
Took a bit of troubleshooting to get the light bulb connected to my Amazon account, but since I did, I have loved it and even purchased a second. Works well with my Alexa as well and can ask for it to be turned on/off and dimmed to a certain percent. The light is a nice, warm yellow.

These are absolute garbage and I will be sending them back. For one when buying it says check the box to make it a frustration free connection, what a crock of bull**** . Had to use the QR code and two out of 5 would not connect. Plus the ones that are connected only work sometimes, Amazon lights are absolutely useless.

The lights themselves are good and work very reliably with Alexa once set up. Unlike a few of the 1 star reviewers, I have not found that they lose their settings if powered off so all good there too. The setup though, given that I have an Eero network, ticked the ‘pre configure to my Amazon account’ checkbox, and use Alexa speakers (so a 100% Amazon ecosystem) was surprisingly messy. E.g. there was no option to add them automatically to my existing network and, even more strangely, the one network that wasn’t detected when I was asked to select one to use was the same one that all my Amazon stuff is connected to. That meant for every bulb – I bought 8 – I had to type in my network SSID and my (long and complicated) password. Irritating but not the end of the world I guess and, unlike the Sengled WiFi bulbs I was replacing, I can reasonably expect these to continue working with Alexa while Amazon is still in business.

This bulb worked perfectly for me, paired very easy thru Alexa, is responsive both on and off and dims all thru Alexa. Is brighter than I thought. I have no problems and will purchase more of these after some more time with it to evaluate further.
