Compact, Convenient, and Great for Small Spaces
The Dash Mini Round Electric Griddle is a perfect little appliance for anyone living in an apartment or with limited kitchen space. It’s compact, easy to use, and surprisingly versatile. It’s great for cooking small pancakes, eggs, or even a quick grilled sandwich. The nonstick surface makes cleanup simple, and it heats up quickly thanks to the handy indicator light. It works very well for what it is, but the cooking surface is small, so it’s best for single servings or quick snacks rather than full meals. Still, the trade-off is its tiny footprint and convenience, which make it ideal for dorms, offices, or minimalist kitchens.Overall, this Dash Mini Griddle is a smart, space-saving solution that delivers solid performance in a small package. It’s definitely worth it for anyone who values function and simplicity without affecting the taste of your food.

Cute. Quick. Efficuent.
Ok, my first order of this little cooker arrived damaged right out of the box (two BB sized nicks in the top plate). I was sorely disappointed as I wanted to try it right away. I called Amazon and they sent me a replacement at no charge, and it arrived the next day! So kudos for Amazon being so responsive! The second cooker arrived in perfect condition. I tried it first making little “onion rings”, putting a small amount of mozzarella on the bottom plate, then loaded up the onions, then added more mozzarella on top of onions. I DID have to flip it once to get the top cooked. The problem with this is, the cheese on top melts down to the bottom, and now the top is trying to cook just the exposed onion. But still they were tasty and crunchy. However, I do believe the Dash DOES cook from the top plate as well as the bottom plate, because the next day I put a golf ball sized ball of pork sausage in there, squeezed the top and bottom plates together, flattening the ball. The sausage DID get cooked on both top and bottom without me needing to flip it!One thing these Dash people need to do is put some kind of clip on this thing in order to secure the top and bottom plates close tightly to ensure the top of whatever, gets cooked without flipping. The ball of sausage flattened out but still a bit tall for the top plate to firmly stay down, but I had a small, flat, cast iron pan there on the stove, so I put that on the top of the Dash and the weight kept the top plate down against the sausage. This is why it cooked both sides without flipping, proving that the top plate DOES cook if whatever you have in there is touching it firmly enough.Cooking an egg? Sheesh, really easy and the top plate was just enough to get the white cooked while not over cooking the yolk, unless you want a hard yolk, then just let it cook longer.I thought the Dash was very easy to clean. I did have some grease from that sausage but it wasn’t enough to dribble over the bottom plate. I dabbed the grease with a paper towel before picking up the Dash to clean more thoroughly. I just used a damp cloth – no soap. Dried it and before putting away (make sure it’s cooled down), I slipped that little piece of paper that came between the plates in the packaging, back between the plates.All-in-all I love my little Dash and am going to use it often.

Very good product, read to the bottom to see the negatives and suggestion.
Positives first….. scroll down to read the little negative i had to say (not much)I enjoy using this product! This one is small… as you see in the picture the size of the pancakes. If you know the size of the eggo waffles thats exactly the size your pancakes will be.But it is perfect. I am usually not a pancake eater but i enjoy it in this size particularly.I have to say! This little machine may also safe you money!!Have you ever burn a pancake ? Or threw them out because they were to huge on the stove…. this machine helps a whole lot. You do NOT need to flip anything!!! Thats a huge plus for me!And making eggs here! Wow so delicious.I am telling you, you will save. Because on the stove you would use a whole bunch of eggs but here with just two eggs you whip them up and you can make yourself 3-4 or 4 little omelets when you add veggies or other things to it.So…. would i recommend this?Yes i would 100%The product is great! But i would tell anyone to consider what size they want. This mini griddle is great but making breakfast for too many people may be stressful, every pancake takes anything from 2 minutes, if you do not mind that!I personally also find myself wanting the 8” one as well for tortillas and bigger omelettes. One thing i would like to try is making many pancakes the night before and freezing them and maybe that could work despite the size – make before hand. The griddle does NOT have an ON or OFF button, it turns on when you plug in 🔌 and must unplug to turn off- do not forget that. It may be the only bad thing… but its a matter of remembering. Also when i used it in the beginning- i did clean mine with a little tiny bit of soap and water on a tissue… and not sure if i wet the inside… if that had anything to do with it but when i plugged it in, upon heating up i smelled a plasticky smell… that was only at the beginning.I bought a toaster over and it also gave off a weird smell… it may be a thing when you use products like this for the first time. But like i said it goes away. When i just put my pancake batter on the griddle it didnt slide right off when finished -i had to work with it to get it out. Sooo when i added a little oil (just rub a little oil with a tissue if you dont have the spray) that is when it comes out easier.Wanted to say this in the case you want to say its not non stick at all…I feel nothing sticked to the top part so far, but as for the bottom it does stick at least for me so to avoid that little oil helps. Definitely less oil then you would use on the stove top.The bottom part of the griddle does cook more then the top part. It may have a higher temperature on the bottom side- not sure, but thats what it seems like. Food is still good despite this. It does not burn it. Its just right. Its up to you to keep track of the time its cooking.Overall, very good product.Suggestion: read the instructions on how to open your griddle when hot. Dont sit it in the counter facing you….so that way you dont open it from front to back.Rather let the plug be on your left side or right side and open it to that side… that way your hands are not exposed to the heat!

Got around to using it
I purchased this a long while ago. Finally got around to using it. I was able to make a burger patty and an egg pretty easily. I line the grills with foil, make a little way for the grease to run out through the foil and tilted it so that the grease could funnel out in a container. That worked great for the burger patties. The egg also cooked up nicely. Seems like a good buy for one person.

This is a handy little cooker!I made a fried egg to put on an English muffin first, very quick and easy. I’m not sure if this will hold two eggs, that might overflow it especially if they are large or extra large eggs. After that I tried a modified version of the potato pancake recipe that came in the recipe book provided. My recipe became: One medium russet potato, shredded. One small onion, diced. One egg. A spoonful of bread crumbs (I’m out of flour), salt, pepper, chili powder. Mixed it all up and cooked it on this. Worked great! Well browned on both sides, cooked in just a few minutes. The non-stick coating is non-stick – I only wipe it with oil when I clean it.I also confirmed it only uses 350 watts. So it would be possible to run this on a battery box (jackery or ecoflow for example), or even on a power inverter in a car or RV. It does get fairly hot though, so you’ll probably want to run it on something that won’t easily burn — like a counter or tray.
