“Old Reliable” is what I call this garlic press!
OK. I don’t actually call it that, but since I typically take years to post reviews to see how well purchases stand the test of time, and in this case it’s been 4.5 years since purchase, I’m going to stick with that. Review: simply a great item. Minces and slices with easy but I could see how someone with hand strength problems may have a problem operating this device. The cleaning sheet is great and it still sits where it belongs. After using the sheet, I rarely need to use the brush. Also, still have the silicone tube in perfect condition and it works pretty good. Removes about 90% of the skin over the period of ownership. The only notable difference, and it is not performance-based, is the color fade on the handles from repetitive use. A bit of the luster is lost but functionally, still a dynamo. Cheers.

Great Garlic Combo Press!
A garlic press??? Do you need a garlic press? The answer is YES, YES, YES!! This is a great garlic press combo set. It is made of very good, strong aluminum construction . It feels good in the hand, nice weight, and very easy to use. I have used it 4 or 5 times. It is designed with two holes, one that crushes the garlic., the 2nd to slice the garlic. Both holes work great. The handle is nice and sturdy, easy to use. The durability factor is great. It comes with a little brush and a little cleaning tool to assist with cleaning. It makes cleaning fast and easy. It does a great job with any garlic that is stuck in the press. It does well on the dishwasher too. I love the silicone peeler tube. I can’t believe I have never used a tool to assist with peeling. I guess it is better late than never!! This is a great press, of great quality. at a great price. It works great! This garlic press has saved me so much time in prep, making cooking a little easier. I will get one for my sister. She would love this, I know I do!! Great buy!

Makes mincing and slicing garlic easy!
I love this device. I have had problems mincing and slicing garlic since an accident wrecked my wrist. This product makes both tasks much easier. My only ‘complaint’ is that the slicer is a bit difficult to clean. The slices don’t go all the way through. But it could just be that my bum hand isn’t strong enough to press the clove through. In any event, this is an inventive, problem-solving tool that should cost a lot more! Well-made and ingenious. I do love the little brush to use for cleaning and the silicone sleeve that you can roll the cloves in to remove the outer paper. Very smart. I wash by hand because I want to preserve the exterior coating. But no biggie.

Finally got a mincer!
I have been needing a garlic mincer for a while and just never got around to it. I was just shredded it as it works similar, but when I started cooking more I needed to do this more often and I was like nope, getting a mincer. This works great, it also slices too if you ever need it. it isn’t hard to press down and mince the garlic, so no grip issues.Its not 100% easy to clean. Yes it has that brush but when you have this thing under the sink faucet, the water pressures works better than anything else. that brush works better once it is dry and maybe you find something you missed.The little rubber cone it comes with to help peel garlic works pretty good. I was skeptical but it worked! it does not peel the whole outer wrapping off, but it does loosen it to the point where you easily pull it off. That alone is worth the money because I LOATHE peeling garlic cloves, it is a pain in the ass. Note about this though, maybe sure you are rolling it on the counter surface. I was on my chopping board service at first and it just couldn’t get the right traction (it was a glass cutting board). once I put it on the counter it worked perfectly.

Well, it’s ok, but doesn’t produce sliced garlic as I expected.
Maybe I was expecting too much. I thought I’d get sliced garlic as in the picture. But when I squeeze the lever, I get moosh instead of cleanly sliced garlic as their advertising shows.I’ve had it for 2 weeks and have prepared 2 (maybe 3) meals that required sliced garlic. If I slice with a knife, I get cleanly sliced garlic. But with this, not so clean.It’s OK, just not what I expected. I think I’ll shop around for a different garlic slicer. Maybe there’s one that has sharp knives and cuts clean slices.

Got this for my garlic loving husband. He loves garlic and I’ll go to sams and get a huge bag for him and he’ll make garlic infused oil , garlic confit and like to make jarlic. He get’s a little carried away but he was so happy to find the garlic crusher he opened it and was like cool a garlic press but when he went to use it he was so happy t came with that crusher. My boys 7 and 9 had fun peeling the garlic with it. It is easy to use, the grip was nice and ultra light I thought it was going to be heavier by the look but its very light weight.

Outstanding Performance!
Upon reading some of the reviews I was a bit concerned about the quality of this garlic press…. Until I received it! I previously owned a Pampered Chef garlic press and was shocked that this new one works so much better with very little effort! Smooth process and easy to clean. Also, the quality of the material is outstanding. I’ve used it numerous times, washed it, used it again, cleaned out residual garlic skin and never the slightest corruption on the finish. No flakes or finish coming off at all. Also, the little silicone wrap to remove the outer skin actually works! I mean, it’s brilliant! Who knew!? Completely unexpected and outstanding performance and quality!!
