Great kit especially harness for cats flying
Just travelled with my cat from Seattle to Honolulu and then Maui (12 hours door to door) and this kit was very useful.First the harness is soft and comfortable and sturdy and you can carry through the TSA screener without issue. I initially ordered a small but medium fit my 10.5lb cat better. In testing the harness on him ahead of travel he wriggled out of it when just using the Velcro so I would advise also using the clips (he didn’t wriggle out of that!). I had him wear the harness a few times before we travelled- mainly so I could see he wasn’t hating it too much. The harness does make it harder for a cat to run/walk or maybe he was just playing up 🙂 he got super friendly like if he snuggled me I would take it off (which of course I did!). I debated whether to use the harness or not but I am so glad I did. Him wriggling away at TSA would have been a nightmare and he tolerated it well having never worn a collar or harness before (he’s 6).The absorbent pad also fitted my carrier great (although cat didn’t pee). The collapsable bowls were useful (although cat didn’t eat on the flight I think too stressed out!). I also used the provided tags for the bag and on his harness and the soft Velcro handle for the carrier.

Good kit
As others have mentioned the sizing seems misleading, but if you use the sizing chart, it is accurate. Might be a bit more obvious if the product information would state the sizes as a, b, and c, or 1, 2, 3. Besides that though, this set is definitely well thought out and practical. I have a 15 lb shih tzu and the large harness fit him perfectly.

Sizes run small
Warning: harness runs small – as in the small was too small for my friend’s Chihuahua, and MUCH too small for my Havanese. The rest of the package was great.

Perfect for my pup’s first overseas flight
Contains everything you need to make getting through security easy and stress free. The harness is comfortable and not too bulky and has the benefit of having a Superman style TSA logo on the chest which amused everyone on our flight.The bowls were really useful on the flight too.The only comment I’d make is a repeat of what some people have said about the sizing. I have a chihuahua cross and he is usually a small in such things but after I measured him I ordered the large and it was a perfect fit.

The clips all broke on day one hour one, and the smallest size available was still too small for my 5 month old kitten that I flew with.

Love that stuff
We had a very stressful flight with my cat coming up so I purchsed this travel kit. It was perfect! All the things in it were used, so so helpful. Highly recommendTo domestic travelers (I’m sure applies to international as well) – they will force you to take your cat out of the vest (New York JFK) so ask for private screening room for that particular maneuver. Much less stressful for the kitty.

Don’t waste your time money on this stuff
Did not need any of these items to get my rescue dog thru airport security check. Did not matter she had on the “:official tsa” harnest and collar and leash. They made it take her out of everything so it was just her in my arms. Don’t waste your time money on this stuff. Never needed it. Will be returning it.

Has everything you need to travel!
This kit has everything to take my cat on an airplane trip! The harness was a bit difficult to figure out the sizing (I think it is really designed for dogs), but after a couple of times working with my cat, he is OK wearing it, if only long enough to get through TSA. The leash I will use the most often, the collapsible cups are really nice and sturdy.
