Good food scale, very accurate. It is durable. Let see how long it will last. I will give 5 stars if I know how long this scale will last. I love it so far. Price is right. Regarding for battery life, I think one new battery should last for months. I like it look modern too.

I love this cute little scale. I’ve never had a food scale before. When I got a bread machine, I found out what a difference it makes to weigh out ingredients. Using measuring cups and spoons are very inaccurate. I wanted a scale with a replaceable battery, because I always seem to lose cords, and it seems like it’s more convenient to not have to recharge it. Very few scales were battery powered, so that made this one stand out. It uses a CR2025, which is easy to find for a couple bucks. The scale is easy to set and easy to read. The battery should last a really long time, since it automatically shuts off. And unless you’re a power baker, which I am not, you might only use it for two minutes at a time. When using it, I put a piece of cellophane over it to keep it clean. It seems it would be easy to wipe off if needed. I wasn’t sure how to store it at first. I considered putting it in a kitchen drawer in its box. It seems a little fragile, so I was worried that someone would be too rough with it or put something too heavy on it. I finally decided to store it in the bookcase with my cookbooks. It fits right in perfectly. It’s so slim, nobody will probably even notice it, and it stays clean and ready for whenever I want to use it.
