Nutritional needs have been met!
Excited to share that this is the first wet dog food that has far surpassed my expectations! #1 it is salmon and chicken based it meets all the requirements of a balanced diet when mixed with the grain free Open Farm salmon & cod kibble. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Open Farm for being the brand that brings peace of mind and completes my fur baby’s nutritional needs. He was so excited while I was mixing his Open Farm kibble & wet food up, he was dancing out of excitement to eat tonight, must have been the smell. Wish I was an octopus, because you would have enjoyed watching his anticipation while I prepared his food. He did not take long to eat his food, it has been a long road of trial & error That was the first I have observed such excitement during meal prep time & great satisfaction with every chomp. Mmmwah! Lip smacking good food. Dog approved. Mommy appreciated!

Dogs love it, smalls decent
My dog loves this. Easy open and pour box, smells good not yucky like some dog food. You can close it up if not using it all. I add some hot water and shake it up to get all the remaining product out. Good stuff.

It’s Rustic Mush
One would think that a Rustic Stew would have chunks of meat and vegetables, but this food does not. It is mush that looks like it was put in a blender for dogs without teeth. Really disappointed that it is not returnable. Waste of money.

Just not for us
It is not the quality that I had an issue with. The quality got a good rating on dog food advisor. as well as other sites that I reviewed. The consistency is disappointing. When they say stew, they mean soup. One of my dogs is fussy so no surprise that she wouldn’t eat it but the other two will eat just about anything and they walked away as well. My oldest is blind and has no teeth, so I thought this might actually work for her, but she didn’t like it. I tried using just as a topper because I can’t return and I have a case left but then they wouldn’t eat their regular food either, so I had to discard. Going to donate it to a shelter.

MARCH 21ST UPDATE: I FIND THAT NIKKI IS NO LONGER EXCITED ABOUT THIS FOOD, TOO SLOPPY, MIXING OPEN FARM KIBBLE IS NOT DOABLE EITHER. I CANCELED THIS ORDER.Nikki loves this food….I realize it is more expensive than other premium foods I have purchased but it has great food quality which will help my Fur Baby to stay healthy. I really like that I do not have to be worried about DENTED CANS which I always threw in the garbage in order to keep Nikki safe. The Cartons this food is packaged in is the same as some human food companies use, safer than CANS.. The food content is also Human grade as well. I did much re-searching before making this purchase and I feel completely confident in this company.. I will continue to purchase the above & the dry kibble since I do NOT want Nikki on a complete GRAIN FREE DIET. I want to protect his Heart. The canned, wet foods are all GRAIN FREE. I have noticed that canned dog foods are all GRAIN FREE to my knowledge.
