Excellent chopper/dicer. Bought several of these for gifts. They make food prep easy and they’re a good value. The blades are sharp and they cut well. Cleanup is easy as well.

Great Chopper
I have only had this since February 18, 2014. I paid $22 here at Amazon for it. So far I really like this chopper/dicer.I have only used this a few times but I really am happy with the results so far! I used it to chop Roma tomatoes. I’ve dice green peppers and onions. I really like the diced onions! Its great to have diced onions and tomatoes in the fridge for sandwiches. This chopper works GREAT for me.Like one other reviewer said here, this doesn’t shorten prep time by a lot as you still need to cut the item down to fit on the blades. I could never chop or dice anything like this chopper does. Once you’ve cut the tomato or whatever you are chopping to size then it’s a snap to cut and dice!You do have to apply some downward pressure to get thru your onions. But I think just about everyone can do this.I usually wait longer to review a product so I’ll come back at a later date to update.Clean up has been easy. Every part except one part (the part that you push down on) can go into the dishwasher. And we actually put that part into dishwasher anyway. There is a tool that comes with it that you use to clean out between ridges/squares that does a good job.

Chops vegetables with ease.
I have been using one of these for several years. This is my second one because the wire cutter on my first one finally wore out. The new one had two additional cutters that did not come with the first one. This little gem dices vegetables in neat little cubes. You do have to cut the veggies into fairly small pieces to fit the cutter blade, and you have to make sure they are not hanging over the edge of the cutter. Fresh, crisp veggies work the best. While cleaning the cutter is not really very difficult, you do have to make sure it is very clean and free of vegetable pieces. If not, the pieces dry on it and may jam up the cutter. The little scraping tool helps clean out the pegs that push the vegetables through the cutter. The one thing that would make the entire item better is if you could just buy a replacement blade because the casing will last for years but the cutter blades will wear out eventually. Bottom line: I would never want to go back to dicing vegetables with a knife (especially onions).

Considerably cut my veggie prep time in half!
This chopper works great! The blades are fairly sharp but it does take a little bit of force to chop with harder vegetables (onions and peppers). To get around this you’ll have to cut the veggies into smaller pieces initially. Be sure to face the slices flesh side down onto the blades; this way the skin is against the plastic pegs making less of a mess to clean up (and juices won’t splatter everywhere).It comes with three blade plates: mini dicer, medium dicer and a slicer. The cuts are quite consistant throughout and will save you tons of time! The mini comb tool is nice but it can take some time to clean up. I suggest popping the pieces into the dishwasher after removing as much veggie residue as you can – you can also flush them with a heavy stream of water.I would definitely recommend this chopper to those looking to save time in the kitchen prepping vegetables/fruit.

Best chopper ever
This is the bet chopper you could buy. I love the how easy it it is to use and clean. No more cutting onions, celery for salads. I’ve bought others at the store and returned them because they were not study. Then I came across this brand on a lady I watch on Facebook. Best kitchen gadget ever.

Feet cause base to break
Great chopper, but the little feet on the base cause it to break from the pressure of repeated use. There is no need for the little feet. If the base was smooth it would not break.

Purchased this PrepWorks chopper for a neighbor, who saw how easily I chopped carrots, celery, onions, peppers, potatoes, etc. with this model, Good for quick prep work when you do not want to use electric chopper. This model provides for quick exchange of blades for different sizes, and types of vegetables (hard and soft) you want to chop. Side measurement feature is very handy. After chopping what you need, stand unit upright and measurement guide will show how much you chopped. Also helpful is that you can purchase replacement parts from Progressive. Es un buen producto para cocinar rápido, fácil de usar y sus navajas si sirven hasta para las verduras o tubérculos más duros.Lo recomiendo porque he probado con otros productos y tuve malas experiencias, el material es bueno y es fácil de lavar.Para lavarlo si es necesario su brochita, cuida mucho esa brochita.
