DUAL VIEW ON ONE SCREEN: See exactly what’s happening around your home with dual view on one screen. The 8mm telephoto lens captures close-up details, while the 2.8mm wide-angle lens brings a panoramic view.
AUTO TRACKING & 6X HYBRID ZOOM: The wide-angle PT lens tracks the target; while the telephoto lens zooms in to focus on details. The close-up view delivers 2MP or 4K views automatically. You can choose three different tracking modes to better suit your needs.
SMART DETECTION & PLAYBACK: The camera can detect and closely follow the movements of people, vehicles and pets. Besides, you can replay the saved videos, filter them by detection modes and control the timeline to quickly locate what you want to see. No subscription fee is needed.
LOCAL AI VIDEO SEARCH, NO SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED: With local AI, effortlessly find the event clips you need in just seconds by typing descriptive keywords or phrases, such as “boy in red hat”, saving hours of time you could have wasted in scrolling through endless footage. Note: Available only on the Reolink App.
INSTANT ALERTS: Once any suspicious motions are detected, spotlights and sirens will be triggered, and push/email notifications will be sent to your device. Feel safe all the time.

Happy I bought this product!!
For me, this security camera is a major improvement over the much less expensive wifi product I had previously. The picture quality is good and the local recording feature is useful. Particularly appreciate the responsiveness of notifications to triggering events. The app is fairly easy to navigate and allows fine tuning of coverage and tracking. While necessitating the additional equipment of a PoE switch and ethernet cable, the setup was straight forward and went flawlessly.

Great within the Reolink system, less so outside
I’ll start off by saying I did not test this with a reolink NVR, I don’t think that it would have any issues in that setup. However for my use I was looking for a PTZ that would work with my Amcrest NVR and this was a good value. Which technically the unit does via ONVIF. That said the dual lenses don’t really work. There was no way to switch which lens was in use. You were stuck with the wide angle only. I didn’t have this probably when using the Reolink app during setup, so it’s definitely just a communication issue between the NVR and the camera. Setup was also a bit tricky but likely a quirk of my configuration.I’d recommend it if you’re using the app or a reolink NVR, but would avoid if you have differently branded equipment.

A Powerhouse for Detail-Oriented Surveillance
I recently integrated the Reolink TrackMix PoE into my existing security setup, and after a few weeks of testing, it’s clear that this is a significant step up from standard 4K cameras. If you are looking for a camera that doesn’t just watch but actively monitors your property, this is a strong contender. The Dual-Lens Experience 👁️👁️The standout feature is undoubtedly the dual-view system. Most cameras make you choose between a wide angle (seeing the whole yard) or a tight angle (seeing the license plate). The 2.8mm wide-angle lens gives a great panoramic view. The 8mm telephoto lens provides impressive 6X hybrid zoom.Seeing both feeds on one screen is a game-changer; you never lose the “big picture” while the camera is busy zooming in on a specific person or vehicle.Auto-Tracking & AI Smart Search 🤖The auto-tracking is fluid. It pans and tilts (355°/90°) to follow targets across the yard with very little latency. However, the real “hidden gem” here is the Local AI Video Search. No Subscription: This is a huge win. Most competitors lock AI features behind a monthly paywall.Keyword Search: Being able to type “person in red” or “pet” to find specific clips in the Reolink App saves an incredible amount of time compared to scrubbing through hours of 24/7 footage.Installation & Performance 🏗️PoE Stability: Since it’s Power over Ethernet, the 4K stream is rock solid. No “buffering” or signal drops that you often get with high-res Wi-Fi cameras.Build Quality: At over 3.5 lbs, the unit feels substantial and weather-ready.Alerts: The spotlight and siren are effective deterrents. The “Smart Detection” is quite accurate—it rarely triggers for blowing leaves, focusing instead on actual moving objects like cars or people.Things to Consider ⚠️Hardware Compatibility: If you plan to use this with an older Reolink NVR, double-check your hardware version (H3MB18, N2MB02, or N3MB01). You’ll likely need a firmware update to see the dual-lens UI correctly on a monitor.Size: This isn’t a “discreet” camera. It’s a large PTZ unit that will be noticed, which is great for deterrence but maybe not for aesthetics. The Verdict ✅The Reolink TrackMix PoE is an excellent investment for those who want professional-grade features (PTZ, 6X Zoom, Dual-Lens) without the burden of monthly subscription fees. It’s reliable, the 4K clarity is sharp, and the local AI search is a massive productivity boost for home security.

Excellent, supports RTSP, ONVIF (REOLINK PoE PTZ Security Camera System, 4K Camera with Dual-Lens)
Effortlessly configures with the Reolink app. I used the Android version. Up and running in a minute after launching. The app allows easy browsing, viewing and downloading of recordings. Notifications can be set up for various alerts with configurable sensitivity. The app also allows live viewing. This camera offers an unusual alternative to traditional, bulky, optical zoom by combining two cameras. The wide-angle camera is a full 4K with excellent quality. The “telephoto” camera appears to be limited to 2K. The camera combines the two images with a variable zoom with a pretty good reach. Although that composite, at 2K, is a lower quality than the wide-angle view but still very serviceable. Viewing in the app you can choose between seeing this composite (“tracking”) view only or the composite AND the wide-angle at the same time, an excellent feature.A powerful IR illuminator provides a monochrome picture at night with excellent range, though a bit of a stretch for the zoom. Alternatively, there are white lights that provide full color illumination. The white lights can be set to activate only when objects are detected (person, vehicle, animal.) Both light sources can be turned off if desired and the sensitivity with starlight only is very good but at the cost of a lot of image quality.Pan and tilt action is very quiet. Nearly a full 360 horizontally and 90 vertically. It does not tilt above horizontal.RTMP, RTSP, ONVIF, HTTP and HTTPS are supported but off by default. In the Android app, click on the gear icon, “Reolink TrackMix PoE”, “Network Information”, “Advanced” to enable.Interestingly, two RTSP streams are accessible: stream 1 is the wide-angle view at 3840×2160. Stream 2 is the composite zoomed view at 1920×1080. Both can be streamed at the same time.Using RTSP I used this flawlessly with Frigate, VLC and tinyCam PRO.With HTTP/HTTPS enabled, the video stream can be seen in a browser, settings adjusted and PTZ operated.Recording is via a micro-SD card, not included. Unlike other companies, Reolink does not lock you into cloud recording. This camera is compatible with the Home Hub and Home Hub Pro. After initial testing standalone I moved the camera over to a Home Hub which was as simple as having the Home Hub adopt it since it was already set up. That provides recording backups and consolidated activity viewing.Installation is via a small bracket that mounts to either a vertical surface or under an overhang. The camera then bolts to that mount for a compact installation. This camera is wired only, no WiFi. It can be powered either via PoE (48V standard 802.1af) or a 12V supply and I tested both. Using the 12V input, current was up to 0.6A with IR illuminator on.
