Product description

Add up to 4 devices quickly and easily with the Sabrent 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub. The thin, lightweight design makes this hub a great travel companion to expand one USB 3.0 port into four. Especially great for notebooks which come with only a few ports in an era when you need to attach many USB devices at once, such as a printer, card reader, cell phone, iPod, thumb drive, mouse, keyboard, or an external hard drive. Fully backwards compatible with the USB 2.0/1.1 products. Plus, each port has its own separate power switch so you can control each port independently.
Expand your high speed USB 3.0 ports
Technology seems to advance at ever increasing speeds. With the recent release of Super-Speed USB 3.0, you can now transfer data at up to 10 times the speeds of the older USB 2.0 standards! Speeds of 5Gbps are a vast improvement over USB 2.0 that only supports up to 480Mbps. The Sabrent USB 3.0 Hub is a great tool to expand a single USB 3.0 port into 4 ports, so now you can connect all of your USB devices at one time. Plus, its small and elegant design has been configured to be as thin as possible so as to not take up precious space as you travel. Yet, it is still backward compatible with your older devices, so you can still use it in conjunction with USB 2.0 devices.
System Requirements:
Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10Mac OS X
Please Note:
2.4Ghz wireless devices, such as wireless keyboard and mouse adapters, may not work in close proximity to USB 3.0 devices or hubs. Connecting to a USB 2.0 port is recommended.
For a stable connection, the devices connected to the 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub must not exceed a combined current of 5 volts 900 mAh. This 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub will not charge an iPad (it will only sync).

Works well but Issues with Raspberry Pi
Works well and the disconnect buttons are very handy, hower there is an issue in that it backfeeds power to the host connection. That may work well with most PCs, however on a Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 this voltage interferes with the power controller on the Raspberry Pi and prevents it from booting. You must either disconnect the hub from the Raspberry Pi until it starts booting or remove the power from the hub until the Pi starts booting. Neither is a good solution for unattended operations. The solution is to interrupt the +5V power line while leaving the ground (P-) and the two data lines (D+ and D-) intact. Unfortunately you can’t open the case or the plug on the hub to cut the P+ line or insert an isolation diode so the easy fix it to use an inexpensive M/F USB power blocker. With that inline the Raspberry Pi boots reliably every time. This device will work fine as an unpowered hub but in that case you would not use the power blocker.

Works great – device detection, compatibility, separate on/off switches
This 4 port USB 3 powered hub works great for all USB devices such as USB drive, keyboard , mouse, audio interface, drawing tablets, MIDI devices, USB ethernet adapter, etc.So far all devices get detected immediately. I had issues with other cheaper USB hubs (such as NAIO-CHAO with on/off switches) with detection of some devices (audio interface in my case) needing reconnect or switching USB port off/on every time computer started and even with that drawing tablet kept getting unrecognized USB device error. So there seems to be differences in USB hubs on what is used inside as some unknown brands don’t perform consistently and can have compatibility issues.Comparatively this is not less expensive device but works flawlessly and highly recommend as a great choice for needing 4 ports with on/off switches. I had similar good result with other USB hubs (without on/off switches) from brands, tp-link and BYEASY.Even though this hub works without power adapter as well for all my devices so far, connecting included power adapter is a good choice to cover all power drawing scenarios and help laptop battery charge last longer.I haven’t done speed testing but practically seems no different than other USB 3 hubs. This being 4 port USB hub for portability, USB cable length is fine for most use like next to laptop or wish to be longer in other use. Detachable cable may be helpful in that case. Or use additional extension cable.

Nice little Hub
So far this little Hub is working well. I have it connected to my PC via a 10 foot USB extension cable to run a small sim racing setup. Running a Keyboard, Mouse, Moza R5 Wheel Hub, and HShifter.

Sturdy, Powered USB Hub with Smart Controls
This SABRENT 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub is a great utility upgrade. It arrived on time, worked immediately, and includes a wall power adapter—which is a big plus for powering multiple devices without overloading your computer. Each port has its own illuminated power switch, letting me control devices individually without unplugging them. Transfer speeds are fast, and the build quality feels solid for the price. No software needed—just plug it in and go.What other customers should know:Includes a wall power adapter, so it can handle power-hungry devices like external drives or webcamsIndividual power switches help manage power and clutterCompact design, good for both desktops and laptopsShort USB host cable—consider an extension if your computer isn’t closeA no-frills tool that does its job well. Highly recommended for anyone looking to manage USB connections more easily.

Ottimo prodotto, la uso su una tv che ha solo una presa usb. Con questo dispositivo, posso inserire più chiavette, perché alimentato da un proprio alimentatore. Al momento prodotto top!

The SABRENT 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub is the unexpected hero of my desk. Plugged it in, hit the little LED switches, and boom my camera stopped flickering like it was trying to send Morse code.Even better, it teams up perfectly with the LINDY 43271 5 m USB‑C to A active extension, like a techy buddy‑cop duo that actually gets the job done. No dropouts, no drama, just smooth sailing. If your webcam is having a meltdown, this hub might just be the therapist it needs.

The SABRENT USB 4-Port Hub does exactly what it says on the tin! The powered USB hub allows you to expand your USB devices without worrying about the power supply issues from your PC thanks to the included dedicated power. The hub includes switches that operate seamlessly, allowing you to control each device with individual switches.I’ve used Sabrent products previously (including my M.2 SSD drive) and the quality is always super! This hub is no exception and has great performance with high data transfer speeds (up to 5Gbps). I also really like how lightweight and compact the product is. It takes up very little space and can even be easily hidden behind your desktop so its not in the way. That being said, if you did want to have the USB hub on show, then it looks really sleek. The black design with the blue LED’s on the switches adds character to your setup!Overall, I genuinely have no complaints about this hub. It is exceptional value for money, and I’m confident it will work for years to come.
