Good to have just in case and good value for money. The only problem is you can’t test it unless you have access to a car with windows you want to break and a seat belt you want to rip. Maybe ask a junkyard owner to let you try it out so you can know how good it will be in an emergency. It fits nicely in pocket of driver side door and the extra visibility of the bright orange is a plus.

God forbid you ever have to use this. But like my EDC, better to have than not. Nice quality with mount (no screws). Nice fit and comfort. As for ease of use, you won’t know till you need it. Keep in mind your probably going to be pretty stressed, when your hit by DUI felon, your cars rolled over and you smell smoke. Be prepared. Train your kids. Follow instructions, always hit the top ends of your passenger window. Not for use on windshields.That’s why I purchased two. OK UPDATE: 1/26/26. I finally chose my mounting location (in case of roll over). I also attached Velcro for extra strength. Find your spot and go for it.

Looks like a great tool, but while the case has holes for screws to mount it, none are included.

Y’all, this is the best quality. It’s exactly what I was looking for in a car safety hammer. I take it with me when I travel and especially when I know I’ll be using car services where I’ll be riding with strangers. You can’t beat the price either.

A ‘MUST-HAVE’ For ALL Car Owners!
I never knew this type of tool existed. Sadly, it took a headline story of a missing teenage girl and the recovery of her car/remains in a lake for me to first hear about the car safety hammer. As soon as I learned of its existence, I immediately placed my order. This is a set of 2 car safety hammers; an escape tool should you ever find yourself stuck in a car submerged in water. This tool can be used not only to break glass windows but also to cut seatbelts. Its crafted from high-grade carbon steel to ensure the glass will break as well as a razor sharp blade to cut through seatbelt material. Its colored bright orange so it can easily be spotted in an emergency situation.I’ve already placed these in our cars. I’m not being overly dramatic when I say one of these tools belongs in everyone’s car. The price is just a few dollars and worth every penny.I hope my family as well as yours never ever needs to use this tool! I urge you to get one for every car you own .
