    The best on the market!
The best portable air compressor on the market it works so good that I bought two. Very compact it has a place to put all the components so that everything is neatly put together. I love the fact that it’s digital and that you can select the tire pressure that you want and it will read your current tire pressure and then it will stop automatically once it reaches your desired tire pressure. It is easy to attach to car tires unlike others I have had before you have to screw them on this one is just a place on the tire and press down the lever. I love the fact that it stops when it gets to the desired tire pressure I have had two other tire pressure machines that do not give you the actual tire pressure nor does it stop when it gets to the desired PSI so you don’t know if it’s too low or too high until you drive and then you have to stop and readjust. I love the fact that you can plug it into the cigarette lighter of your vehicle I’ve had one air compressor that you charge up like a cell phone and that one did not hold the battery and was not convenient. I will purchase more of these for friends and family the price is very reasonable and I was even able to use a coupon for my purchase on Amazon. With the winter weather this is highly recommended for tire pressures because they fluctuate up and down. And who wants to keep going to the gas station to get quarters to fill up the tire with air. During the winter there’s a line of people trying to put air in there tires at the gas station with this I can do it conveniently anywhere I am. It’s even great for use with bike tires easy and convenient.

You will not regret having one of these!
Picture it, Sicily – 1922…. Okay, no. But I’ve a story for you nonetheless. Picture it, for real this time, lower Wisconsin –2025. It is dark and a thunderstorm is a-brewing as I leave on a long road trip. My car packed to the gills with suitcases, duffle bags, cases of food and drinks and travel snacks. It’s only 6am and it’s the July 4th holiday. Traffic so far is nice and light and I stopped to top off the gas tank shortly after leaving so I could make it as far as possible before my first rest stop of the trip. But as luck would have it, as I pull back out and back onto the interstate, the low tire pressure light comes on. OH NO. It’s dark, it’s a-storming, it’s way early in the morning, it’s a holiday, I’m along I-94 between Milwaukee and Chicago, and now I gotta figure out where I can check on and fill up my tire(s)?! DOH! Oh no no no. Ugh, please tell me no.Well, no.Because last year my friends posted about this portable tire inflator thingy and I treated myself to one for Christmas this year. And now I’m convinced every car needs one of these. I’m not even kidding. I just pulled back off the interstate at the next exit and found myself a well-lit gas station where I pulled up alongside a pump to be out of the rain. And it was an easy, breezy, beautiful experience because I also remembered – while packing the car full to the gills – to leave things like the jumper cables and air pump accessible in case of emergency. So there I was with my magical tire air and in bleep blop bloop, all tires were checked and filled and I was back on my way.Seriously. GET ONE OF THESE. For yourself, for your loved ones, for your kids. It lives in the car and is a serious additional piece of mind when traveling. If my friends’ ears were ringing that day, it was because I was once again mentally thanking them profusely for posting about their tire inflator on social media, enticing me to buy one for myself.

Broke on first use in cold weather
I have another tire inflator from Slime and it has worked well for years, and I needed another one for my daughter’s car. They no longer make the one I purchased, so I ordered this one instead. I tried to use it the day after it arrived. The temperatures are in the teens here. It didn’t hold up well. As soon as I tried to open the lever on the locking valve stem latch, the green plastic lever broke. It is now nearly unusable. The whole thing which otherwise looks like it would be good (compact, includes a light, backlit digital display) is now garbage because of a low quality plastic latch critical to the whole thing being functional. I am sending back this trash. Perhaps if you only use it in warm weather or maybe treat it as a delicate flower, it may last but for you northerners, stay away.

    Quick and easy
Every winter, as soon as it gets truly cold out, my car tells me that my tire pressure is low. I usually go to a tire place and they take care of it for free, but it’s a pain to drive over there. I used to have a big compressor that plugged into an outlet in my garage, but moved to an apartment where I park in the garage but don’t have storage or an outlet to use. It finally got cold here this week, and, as usual, my car complained about air pressure. I knew it would, so I had bought the Slime compressor, and it worked great. From leaving my apartment to go to the garage with the Slime in my hand to standing back in my apartment after filling all four tires, it was half an hour. The Slime now lives in the car. Bonus: if I held the Slime in my hand while it was running, my smart watch thought I was walking and recorded a bunch of steps.

    Would recommend
Normally I leave simple reviews, however I wanted to clear up some very incorrect 1☆ reviews posted here.#1 auto stop does work, in fact I had to let some air out to get my tires to exactly 35(I have a digital reader that goes to 1/2lb readings)#2 it will reach just about any tire on any vehicle (I have full size GMC Sierra and it reached no problem)#3 its a plastic housed, tiny compressor, so yes it is going to get warm, then hot. I’d suggest (like the small pamphlet that comes with it says) letting it rest after a few minutes of use. It’s not some kind of alien technology that allows you to inflate infinite times back to back🙄.This is a portable, easy to use, good in a pinch Inflator to get you down the road and to a repair shop if needed. For that purpose, I would recommend this 100%.Hope this helps clear up some of the bs from people who need some common sense vitamins out there.

I’ve tried it a few times up to this point. What I can say so far is that I like its small size and elegant design as well as its simple operation and nice features. It serves the purpose and shows reasonable performance taking into account its capacity. It took me around 7 minutes to have a regular small car tire filled from 0 to 35 psi.
