I ordered this to replace a touch sensitive scale that was annoying to use. Look at it the wrong way and the unit would change. Really annoying to have to cycle through all the units to get back to your preferred settings.Fortunately, even though the buttons on this one are flush, you do need to properly press them to change unit, there’s just a slight click each time you press and you can feel you’ve made a change…. No gremlins in here. There’s a little digital display, it’s to the front and it’s clear and easy to read. The actual plate you weigh on, it’s lightly brushed alloy or stainless steel, nice and easy to keep clean, a simple wipe with a cloth. It’s on the small side, so it’s easy to store, but big enough to do it’s job. It’s USB C rechargeable, but there is the option to put regular batteries in it if you’d prefer. An unusual feature, but I guess it could come in handy. It’s just been really handy round the kitchen.

I’ve been using this kitchen scale for a few weeks now, and it’s been working out well. I’ve gone through a couple of different scales before, and this one does what I need it to do without any fuss. The 33lb capacity covers pretty much everything I use it for – baking, weighing produce, and portioning out ingredients. It measures down to 1 gram, which is helpful when I’m following recipes that need exact amounts. Beats eyeballing measurements, that’s for sure. The LCD screen is clear and easy to read, even when the kitchen lighting isn’t great. The backlight is useful, which I didn’t think would matter much until I had it. Makes it easier to see the numbers without leaning in or moving things around. It can run on either a rechargeable battery via USB or regular AAA batteries. I’ve been using the USB option mostly- it charges pretty fast, and I haven’t had it die on me yet. Nice to have the battery backup option though. The stainless steel top cleans up easily. I’ve gotten flour and other stuff on it, and it wipes off without any issue. The scale doesn’t take up a ton of counter space, but still fits bigger items. I even brought it with me on a trip once since it’s light enough to pack. The tare function works well for zeroing out bowls or containers, and switching between grams, ounces, and pounds is straightforward – just a button press. Small thing, but it makes measuring ingredients less of a hassle. It’s a solid scale. Does the job accurately, looks decent on the counter, and handles everything from small spice amounts to heavier items.

Very nice build quality; lightweight with a surface very easy to clean. The accuracy is very good, matches exactly another older & larger kitchen scale that I have.I like that the buttons require physically pushing in to actuate, so I don’t actuate the buttons just by accidentally brushing against it, unlike the overly sensitive touch buttons. At just about 8″x5.5″, this compact surface size does limit the size of the object you can securely put on for measuring. So it’s most useful for weighing small quantities or things that can fit in a small to medium size bowl. The two power options – built-in lithium ion, and AAA batteries – gives it good nice-to-have flexibility. For me, the built-in battery (charged via a USB cable) is more than sufficient, and seems to last weeks. The only minor quip about it is that there’s no battery level indicator, aside from the Low battery warning when the battery drains below a certain threshold. Given it’s a kitchen device, that’s plenty enough of a heads up to get it charged up.

I like this kind of scale as they take up much less room than the traditional weighing scale, so theyāre easy to store. The last one I had was accurate⦠eventually! I found that when I put something on to weigh, it just couldnāt make its mind up for a few seconds, and jumped up or down a couple of grams when I wasnāt looking. It was very misleading when I was adding in other ingredients.Well, after trying various things on the Atogou scale I have to say Iām impressed. Itās very accurate, and it makes a decision straight away and it sticks with it. The screen is bright and clear to read. Itās also easy to operate. The power button also has a Z/T (otherwise known as tare) button which sets it back to zero. That means I can put a mixing bowl on top, press the Z/T button to take it to zero, then start adding my ingredients. Itās so much easier than old fashioned scales! The unit conversion button is easy to click through to choose different units of measurement: g/kg/pounds/ounces/ml/or milk. The scale can be recharged with an included USB charging cable, or it can be used with AAA batteries. Iāve used the cable to charge it before use, and it only took about an hour to fully charge. My only quibble is that the cable is not very good quality, and is a poor fit. Itās also ridiculously short. It does the job, but Iāll probably use one of my own, better-quality cables.Overall, itās easy to use and to wipe clean, it looks modern and stylish in my kitchen and most of all itās accurate.

I love this little kitchen scale for its versatility, appearance and compact design (which allows me to leave it out on the counter without losing valuable countertop real estate). The biggest advantage this scake has over my older kitchen scales is the fact that it is rechargeable. On top of that feature, you also have the option of throwing in a couple of AA batteries if you forget to charge it and need it immediately. For a tiny footprint, I am impressed with how much weight it can handle. It also tares quickly, so that it can measure out ingredients right into a cup or bowl on the scale. The only disadvantage that the compact size has is that if you are using a mixing bowl, cup or plate on it, it has to have a small enough base or a completely flat bottom. However, this is a tiny detail in comparison to how easy it is to switch between ounces to lbs, to grams and kgs. I love the shiny stainless steel top, which is sharp to look at and easy to clean. A great kitchen gadget!
