durable and economical
For the amount of coffee beans I dump into my percolator to make one cup of strong coffee, I thought I would be better off making cold brew and squeezing every last drop of caffeine out of my beans.This pitcher is functional, easy to clean, screw together, and has the little measuring tick marks on the side. For $20 it’s a great deal.I’m now enamored with the whole mason jar thing and it’s appealing to have a giant mason jar pitcher. Also the plastic lid screws on tight, my arms being stronger than some, so I had to be careful not to screw it on tighter.It’s a 64oz mason jar, but with the filter filled with 8oz of ground coffee it’s slightly less. The instructions say to use 8oz of coffee grounds with 64oz water, I didn’t come up with that myself.Also, you have to grind your own beans: the pre-ground beans from the store are too fine and seeped out of my metal tea strainers that I already had from a different brand/appliance. I didn’t experiment with putting store bought grounds in this strainer, no desire to potentially drink coffee with fine grounds in it.So in addition to this pitcher I ended up buying a Black&Decker basic coffee grinder, to get coarse grinds.I also labeled the lid with the date/time my 24-hour batch would be ready, with a red wax pencil. you can use masking tape or whatever, sharpie washes off plastic with dish soap sometimes.Overall this is a decent pitcher for making your own cold brew coffee.

I am absolutely obsessed with Thai tea, but making it the traditional way has always been such a hassle. After seeing someone on TikTok talk about how they “brew” their Thai tea, I thought, where has this been hiding?! I immediately purchased this JunVpic Cold Brew Coffee Maker Jar, and as soon as it arrived, I put it to the test.First off, no more boiling water and waiting for steeping! The inner filter is a game-changer: just fill it with Thai tea leaves (leave a little room for expansion), then fill the jar with room-temperature water. I let it soak for about a day and a half, dumped the tea leaves, and made my iced Thai tea. OMG, it’s delicious! First off this company has the best customer service if something breaks you just return and replace so simple and easy! Comes in beautiful colors, good quality glass jug which I love! Temp changes shatter item!
This cold brew pitcher works great. The filter keeps even fine coffee grounds out of the cold brew. However, the glass quality does not last for quick temperature changes. My pitcher shattered after taking it out of the fridge and leaving it on the counter next to my hot coffee maker! It got hot too quickly without liquid being poured in. Silly me for leaving it too close but…..If you purchase this just be very conscious of temperature changes!

I prefer cold coffee year round so I was excited to find this product which my granddaughter also has. All the components including the filter are good quality and coffee making is so fast and simple. You could make coffee even if you had a power outage. Highly recommended and very easy to clean.

Best Cold Brew Maker!
I was pleasantly surprised by how large this pitcher is. I can make two days worth of cold brew with it. 🙂 The filter works great and the pour spout lid with handle seem to be made of very sturdy plastic that will last for a long time. My first cold brew was for copycat Starbucks Frappuccino for myself and daughter. Delicious!

I have both the large size and small size, during summer I have no trouble drinking through the large size before it goes bad but like the smaller size for cooler weather when I drink iced less often. Easy to use, makes great tasting cold brew! The filter is a little tricky to clean.

Bought for the holiday season for cold brew tea as mix with alcohol. I’m very pleased with the result although I wish the instructions gave information about ratios of tea or coffee to water and how much time it takes. The quality of the product is very good and I love the seal to keep the finished product fresh in the fridge. Highly recommend
