Although my iPhone successfully connects to the dash cam’s WiFi, why does the app display a black screen at times?

This issue is caused by unexpected disconnection between the WiFi and iPhone, the new version App has improved this issue, will be available for download on April 10th. We recommend using either the “Sinlegoo Car” or “Viidure” app meantime.

    Worth every penny 🫠
I sat on this for a while but it ate at me knowing I didn’t have a dash cam and it would probably be that day I’d get into an accident, so I finally got it and it’s exactly what I hoped for 👏In the land of dash cams, it’s very easy to get lost in the amount of repetitive garbage going around. At least for me, I don’t see the point of having a mini display on the dash cam and I’d like the dash cam to be least obtrusive as possible. Sure, 4k is great but I just want a reliable 1080p front/back dash cam that I don’t have to worry about after setting up; so far this dash cam fits these requirements. One thing I noticed which was a tad confusing is it’s very hard to tell if this item comes with a microSD or not, there’s multiple misleading information so after opening the package to find a microSD card I was surprised as even in their manual it says “DOES NOT COME MICROSD CARD!” 🤔 but I’m not complaining to get a free 64GB microSD. I still went for the Samsung Ultimate microSD 128GB as I’ve heard some people having issues with microSD and dash cams, better safe than sorry 👍Another thing I had to specifically set was the 5GHz, it defaulted to 2.4GHz for me which was painful to transfer any videos and to be honest 5GHz isn’t that much better and I set mine to 1080p I couldn’t even imagine using Wifi to transfer 4k videos – if you do, just get a microSD adapter and transfer the files directly to your PC.Other than that, I’ve been very happy with this dash cam it was very easy to install and setup although tucking wires is always time consuming 🥵 I installed mine with the hard wire kit which I’d also recommend because if you’re going this far might as well go all the way! The benefits to having the dash cam plugged in 24/7 I find invaluable, for me I do gig work so having an extra set of eyes not only while I’m on the road but when I’m away from my car is extremely helpful.I’ve only been able to play around with the dash cam for a few weeks but so far the experience has been great, quality is better than expected and as far as night vision goes it seems to have times when it’s great and times when it’s non-existent but for the price I’m more than happy.

    Decent Quality, Easy Setup
This dash cam is very much plug and play which I appreciate, and once you plug it in it talks to you, saying that it’s started recording (this is a bit annoying, just a beep would be better). The installation can be a bit difficult because it’s not adjustable at all; there is a single adhesive pad attached to the camera and no other way to mount it- no suction cup mount etc. In front of the rear-view mirror works well, but if you want it anywhere else it might be difficult because you can’t adjust the angle at all.The picture quality is better than I expected, it’s definitely good enough to read license plates etc. even from kind of far away. I didn’t attach the back camera because I didn’t want wires running all over my car, but the front camera is definitely adequate quality.Besides the mount not being adjustable at all, my only complaints would be with the app and the cable length. The included USB C to Car-Port cable is very long, definitely long enough to reach the camera directly, but a bit too short to ‘hide’ properly depending on your car. If you don’t car about having a cable running through your center console it’s fine, but I had to buy a longer USB C cable in order to hide it properly. The other issue is with the mobile app, I found it quite difficult to connect to the camera, as it often doesn’t show up in settings etc. This probably isn’t something you would be accessing super often so again it’s not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind.Overall there are a couple things that could be improved about the camera, but its core functionality, as a dash camera, works very well. I appreciate that it comes with everything you need to use it right out of the box, and it’s very easy to set up depending on how you want it mounted.

pretty damn good, but with a few issues
the dashcam was simple to set up and install into my car and the footage on it is great. fair warning: the required micro sd card doesnt come with the dashcam and the instructions are poorly translated to english.my problems with the cam are minor, technical issues. for example, the app is quite outdated and doesnt look great. if i want to access the current footage or any past footage, i have to be connected to the dashcam’s wifi, which means i have to be in my car, start it, connect to the wifi, and THEN i can see it. its quite inconvenient to say the least.the product also claims to always be recording, but the only footage i can find is when my car is on. i can only hope that the g sensor will save the recording if my car gets hit while parked.all in all, for the $67 that i bought this with, im pretty happy with the extra layer of security i get when driving (and MAYBE when im not?), but there are definitely better, more reliable, and easier to navigate dashcams out there. if youre willing to put down an extra $30-50, itll definitely be worth it for the peace of mind and better app interface. if not, im sure youll still be happy with what this product provides.

I recently purchased the FocuWay car dash cam and I am extremely impressed with its performance. The video quality is crystal clear and the wide-angle lens captures everything on the road, ensuring that I have a record of any incidents that may occur while driving. The setup of the dash cam was incredibly easy and the instructions were straightforward. Once it was installed, the interface was very user-friendly and navigating through the different settings was a breeze. The dash cam is also very compact and doesn’t take up much space on my windshield. Plus, the price is very reasonable for the quality and features that it offers.Overall, I highly recommend the FocuWay car dash cam to anyone in the market for a reliable and high-quality dash cam. It has exceeded my expectations and I feel much safer on the road knowing that I have a record of everything that happens while driving.

Both of the front camara and rear camera could provide smooth frames as well as low latency, and they are very easy to install just follow the tutorial in Youtube. The resolution of the video is indeed 2160P(4K) resolution, which I really like. For the Mobile APP, it’s convenient to connect through WIFI with the dash cam, and also easy to operate it on my phone. And I really like the way of how to mount it in the front window, really smart design. This is the first time I bought the dashcam and I would recommend this one to anyone else who’s getting a new car and looking for a dash cam!

Product overall seems good. Until you realize that your WIFI needs to be turned on in order for it to record video. The catch is when it connects to your wifi, it actually turns your data off on your cell phone . Tried a bunch of different thing but it did not work. If you off your wifi, it will not record . Not sure what the SD card slot is for then.Update : found out the dash cam hi jacks your data on your phone. You cannot use data / connect to the internet while connected to this camera . DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL

Well I bought this for my wife. I have a blackvue 750 and this camera does not hold up to a blackvue BUT its not that bad.The video quality at night is not the best. Image quality in the day is good, it is a bit better than 1080, but does seem full 4k. The camera should have a GPS module so you can see the speed and also would be good for putting into park mode as it would be able to detect the lack of motion. Don’t get me wrong, for the price it is not bad for a dual front, back dash cam but it is missing some features that would make it knock out the other big names. The potential is here.If you don’t care about GPS and auto parking mode from lack of movement sensed by GPS, then this is s pretty damn good dual dash cam for the price.
