Best I have found
these are the best i have found since govee stopped making the lights i had. They aren’t miles apart between bulbs, they are quite bright. I used a dremel to take off the hooks so they would mount flush under my balcony railing (with clips and zip ties for a more permanent look). Installation was very simple (I made it more challenging by customizing) The quality is great, so far.Controlling the colors and brightness is fairly good through the app, but while there appear to be endless colors to select, they don’t represent as well on the actual bulb… However, I really like being able to save my favorites for sports teams, holidays, etc. and change the colors with a single selection.Again, these are the best I have found and I have looked far and wide.

Great lights, zero regrets
These lights were exactly what I was looking for. Setup was easy, they feel solid, and they instantly made the patio more inviting. The app was painless to set up and works reliably, which is honestly half the battle with smart lights.They’ve been up through rain and wind with no issues, and they still look great at night. This was one of those purchases that actually delivered on the hype. I’d 100% buy these again and recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor space.

Great patio lights
These lights are beautiful. Has some great preset scenes but the possibilities of creating different scenes are endless! Easy to set up and durable, they’re holding up during a terrible winter!

Looks nice and easy set up
These were easy to install and set up. I was initially concerned because I had Reid people had set up issues but I downloaded the app, followed all of the steps connected to my Wi-Fi and even synced with Alexa in just a few minutes. I had zero issues. One thing that we did that deviated from the instructions was that we installed and hung the lights before we did the app set up. Not sure if that mattered but I wanted to call it out. I will update this as we continue to use them.

Good, but could be better!
Good, but could be better really sums up these lights. I really wanted to enjoy them, but they fell short in hitting my expectations.Pros: They seem really well put together and seem to be more durable than other outdoor color changing lights. They are also more aesthetically pleasing to look and as well and don’t come across as cheap. When in color mode, the colors do look very rich and deep, just not bright.Cons: The lights themselves are very dim. Just over 200lm on the brightest setting for the entire strand. To put that in perspective, the Govee lights that are similar output at 1200lm an increase of 600% brightness which was night and day difference. The other issue was the white was not very good to look at. It does appear slightly green, but this is more to do with the bulb shape than bad leds.Overall I think these fall short of the mark for a new product released in 2025. If you don’t mind dim lights these would be perfect, but if you need to light up an outdoor area better then you may want something a little brighter.
