How to paring with Alexa/Echo.
Method 1: one step pairing Alexa quickly.
1, Turn off the smart light bulbs.
2, After 5 seconds, turn on smart light bulbs.
3, Say to the speaker “Alexa/Echo, find device”.
Then you can use Alexa to control the lights.
The speaker can add up to 4 lights at a time, repeat the above steps for those that are yet to be paired.
About Method 2, please refer the user manual.

Took a second to pair but looks cute!
I needed these for my bedroom to help me unwind after a long day of commuting around Northern California. While the setup usually goes smoothly, I did have a minor pairing issue that took a few tries before Alexa finally recognized the connection. These are a total lifesaver for my 14-year-old Maltese who gets anxious in the dark, as I can now dim the glow to a perfect soft amber without ever leaving my bed. For the price of a single fancy latte from my old Starbucks days, getting a four-pack of such high-quality lighting feels like a major win for my budget.

This bulb was pretty easy to connect to the Dot. Some of the instructions were a bit confusing but it worked pretty effortlessly with some patience. The bulb has several different light settings and gets very bright if needed. Good bulb for the money

Good if you need a brighter, all-white, bulb – requres a new 3rd party app.
Got a 4-pack of these, 4 months ago, and just installed my second one. Took about a half hour to delete the old non-working bulb, find the new app in my phone, put the app back on the home screen, accept terms and conditions, add the bulb, pair with Alexa, review its performance, and then try to remember all of the routines I set up 3 years ago and how to reprogram the new bulb back in to where it got deleted. I have mostly color bulbs, but needed a brighter one so that we can see to read and stuff!This does good as a 100 watt equivalent. It has a range of white colors and is dimmable with Alexa.Yes, after installing about 3 different 3-party apps, here I am with yet another 3rd-party app (brmesh) in order to operate this new bulb. I did have it on my phone. I don’t know why it wasn’t on the home screen.So, the problem is that, if the bulb stops working as my last bulb did, any routines I have saved automatically delete that bulb, and you have to go through each routine and set it up again, hoping that you can remember each and every parameter and where it goes in the programmed routine. Too bad we can’t save the program off to a file that we could refer to.

F these! Absolutely nothing about these work the way that they are supposed to. They don’t easily install through Alexa the way the box shows. They do not easily install by using the included instructions. They have an app. It sucks! They include QR codes for installation. They do not scan. The only other alternative is to enter the number on the QR code. There is no number on the QR code. It asks for the icon of the connectivity printed on the box or the light bulb to connect these. There is no icon for the connectivity printed on the box or the light bulbs. Unless you have a degree in nuclear physics and chemistry and computer science, you are so much better off buying any other brand made by any other company. These are too frustrating to deal with for any mortal man.

SIMPLE to install with Alexa – Works great in terms of brightness and shades of white
I had bought a brand of smart lights that I simply could not get to work in my house and saw that these were on sale, with reviews saying they were easy to connect. Having wasted more than an hour trying to set the other lights to connect (I returned them), these connected in about a minute. You simply put them in, turn on the power, and then say “Alexa, find devices” to an Alexa speaker.That’s it! Alexa told me it had found 4 lights. I then went into Alexa, saw the lights as newly installed devices, and checked the lights, and they gave the name “couch lights” (they fit 2 each into lights next to a couch). I can then turn them on or off by voice and also give Alexa the time of day I want them turned on or off. You can adjust the intensity of the lights by voice along with their color (5 shades of white – warm white to cool white).Great lights that are SO easy to install. Highly recommended!!

I bought these because they were recommended by Alexa to work with the Alexa devices. They were very difficult to pair and I had to use an old dot to pair them at all. They’re connectivity seems to be on and off and they are very slow to respond to Alexa commandsdo not recommend.

After have problems with WiFi smart bulbs because of a router change i decided to try these Bluetooth smart bulbs. They install to Alexa easily, do not require a router set at 2.4 mghz (which proved to be the problem with WiFi smart bulbs), and don’t require re-installation if you change your wifi setup. One of the 4 bulbs didn’t seem to work properly and when I contacted Customer Service by email they responded almost immediately and sent a replacement the next day. Having such positive response to warrantee and customer service is very reassuring. I highly, highly recommend this product.
