Another great Hue bulb
This BR30 LED bulb is a fantastic addition to any smart home. It provides brilliant brightness and a stylish look that enhances any room. The setup is straightforward, and the bulb integrates seamlessly with the Hue app, including the motion-aware feature. Although there a bit on the expensive side,the color, the quality, brightness, and dimming capabilities make it worth the investment. It’s a reliable, has great connection and worked great. I have them in my kitchen and on my porch so that they’re not an outdoor light. They do work great outside as long as they’re covered. They are a high-quality Hue product that will definitely elevate your smart lighting experience for years to come.

I purchased these to replace some incandescent bulbs in my kitchen. I already have them in almost every room of my house and they last for years. I’m still using the original Hue bulbs I purchased in 2009. Yes they are more expensive than competitors, but you truly get what you pay for, so to me the additional cost is well worth it. They are responsive, easy to set up, and work every time.

Expensive but worth it for smart homes
Works like expected. Colors are nice. More pastel colors but these work great for my outdoor lights out back. Signal strength has not been an issue even for the distance one is from the hub and router. Now Hue is NOT CHEAP in PRICE or QUALITY. These will be your higer end lights on the market and the cost reflects that as well as the feel, weight, quality of the Hue lights, pick up any other brand (i have other brands) in your hand and compare. These have way better range also over the others I have tried.

The price could be off-putting for some, but the investment you make in Philips Hue White and Color Ambience Lighting is something you will not regret.I purchased these lights to fit overhead sockets for my new apartment, but I have used Philips Hue for over five years. As a former nightclub DJ, I know lighting greatly contributes to the vibe of a room. Being able to control the color, brightness, and patterns of my lights has a direct effect on my mood.There are also multiple apps available to use with Philips Hue, making it easy to program lights to your specifications.I highly recommend Philips Hue. I own 24 bulbs of various sizes to meet all my lighting needs, and have never had one burn out.

Hue bulbs are awesome
Another great bulb from hue. Vivid colors and great brightness. My wife loved these also. We used them in the entryway of the house and having the entrance green for Halloween was quite a treat for the kids when they peered at the glow from the window and commented on how spooky it looked.

I connected Bluetooth first in iOS app and did firmware update – not sure if was necessary. Was easy to add to zigbee2mqtt and can control in home assistant fine. I am using a Sonoff 3.0 P dongle for coordinator.
