It works, love it, faster & less muscle effort than traditional garlic press
Great kitchen tool, I’ve used it for crushing and mincing garlic and ginger (doesn’t work as well on ginger and you have to precut ginger). I never used a traditional garlic press mainly because it’s a pain to clean and time consuming – usually use a chef’s knife. This is quick & easy to clean, you can do a few cloves at once – just press & scrape off with a butter knife. You do have to put a lot of body weight into it for it to work – i.e. bring your weight up (I stand on tip toes) and lean onto it. Maybe people who can’t get it to work are trying to use the muscles in their hands or forearms. If you do it correctly it requires less effort than the traditional garlic press.

Effective and easy to use.
It works! Very sturdy, easy to hold and use. It takes some pressure to use, but I got the hang of sort of rocking and scraping the leftover strands off the cutting board. I really like the skin release tube since skinning garlic cloves has always been my least favorite thing sbout mincing garlic.

I do like this garlic tool. It was easy to use and the outside of the garlic scrapes off easily when crushed.

Didn’t work it as expected!
It takes all your body weight to press the garlic and only half gets pressed through and the rest is just smashed. I was hoping the size could press several cloves at the same time but I’ll just go back to using my regular hand held garlic press. Save your money and buy a hand held garlic press.

Easy to use, easy to clean. Use a solid platform like a cutting board or plastic/glass/ceramic plate to crush or mince your garlic. It’s not sharp so it takes a little force, but it does the job.
