VERY good dash cam indeed.
I love love love this dash cam! It records very clear easy to view video and has been a great addition to my defensive driving skills! The camera and wiring were very easy to install, got great reviews from consumer reports, nice value, functions quite well and is easy to navigate. Wifi connectivity was fabulous as well!

Excellent Dash Cam
Installation was not difficult, apart from self-inflicted idiocy during the hardwire process. We ended up needing the camera last month and it came through with flying colors. A driver ran a stone cold red light, t-boned a car and bounced off into ours. Our ViewClear 70 captured it all and we were able to show the police the video on my phone by the time they arrived on scene due to how easy it is to connect to the camera via wifi to access video.They remarked they’d not seen such high quality footage from a dash cam. The end result was a quick finding by the police and our insurance company that we were not at fault.

It worked for me!
It helped me with my insurance claim, but the driver was hit and run so with no front plate required in NM he got away.I failed to set it for 5 min loop and so the video ended at a bad time. But the camera still activated and caught the video.I’m happy with it!

Great dashcam for my F150
This is a great camera. My previous FN7 stopped working and i purchased this model as a replacement. Truns out my old one has shorted our due to wiring harness and a bad dog with persistent urge to chew…. this camera has many improvements to my older model, was quick to install, about 20 minutes, and so far has very crisp and sharp videos whe reviwing. It sees better in the dark, reads license plates and i like the screen saver featuer when driving in darkness. I highly recommend this model.

No rear camera adapter option
The main unit is good. The problem is have is the rear camera is for an inside installation only. The rear camera uses a USB C connector a d most to all of rear cameras use a RCA phone type connector. Some vehicles like mine has a rear window that rolls up and down where the camera that this model came with will not work and there’s no adapter to use for any other camera to make use of the rear viewing camera recording function.

So far so good I have chosen to replace all of my ROVE cams due to the app not working most of the time. This brand seems to be excellent quality, pretty decent price and it just seems to work.

Clarity for peace of mind
Easy to install. Clear visuals. I was actually impressed with the clarity and ease of use. However, I still haven’t been able to sync the camera with my phone. It’s infuriating! Also, in order to have the camera monitor your vehicle le when it’s parked, you’ll need to separately purchase the kit in order to hardwire it.In short, I recommend this product.

I can start off by saying that REDTIGER is one of the top dashcam brands around today. Their products are high quality and perform well in the department that matters most – image quality.The biggest thing to talk about on a dashcam is low-light picture quality because you want a dashcam that can capture clear images of license plates in difficult lighting situations. The ViewClear 70 dashcam uses the Sony STARVIS 2 technology that is currently the best in market when it comes to low-light image quality.In my tests at night I found that the ViewClear 70 dashcam easily outperformed my old dashcam for pictures at night. I was surprized at how well both front and rear cameras captured video that allowed me to zoom right in on license plates, even when they were oncoming from the opposite direction.So this dashcam is a winner for image quality with the STARVIS 2 tech combined with high quality front and rear cameras, but what about the rest?Overall, this is a well built dashcam with good controls, an easy to use app, and a nice clear screen for previewing your video clips. Your an download videos over a fast 5G WIFI connection, or by popping out the micro SD card. Both are easy but downloading over WIFI means you don’t need to use your computer to get at the video files.The menus are easy to navigate with no lag and the app also works really well, this combined with the crisp screen makes using the dashcam very easy.I have two tips on the installation:1) Use a hardwire kit to make sure you are able to use all the functions of this dashcam including parking monitoring2) Make sure you apply the included clear stickers before you stick the dashcams to your windows to make removal easierOverall, it’s a really good system for personal use. I note “personal use” as this dashcam does not have a third camera that would record the interior of your vehicle.Good to recommend, you can look at dashcam brands online and REDTIGER will always in in the top list of dashcams.

Après plusieurs trajets, cette REDTIGER VC70 (4K avant + 2,5K arrière) fait clairement la différence. De jour, l’image est détaillée et les plaques sont lisibles ; de nuit, le combo STARVIS 2 + Wondrix HDR gère bien les phares et les zones sombres, on garde des informations utiles autour du véhicule. L’appli est fluide : en Wi-Fi 5,8 GHz, je récupère un clip sur le téléphone en quelques secondes sans sortir la micro-SD (la carte 128 Go fournie est un vrai plus). Les commandes vocales évitent de lâcher le volant pour verrouiller un enregistrement.Côté installation, l’avant se pose vite avec l’adhésif. Et là, bonne surprise : la boîte inclut un petit outil rigide pour glisser le câble proprement derrière les garnitures (montant A, joint de porte, ciel de toit) sans rien démonter, ainsi que 5 clips autocollants pour guider le fil de la caméra arrière le long du toit/hayon. Résultat : un passage de câble propre et invisible en une seule passe, rien ne pend ni ne se coince quand on ouvre le coffre. Comptez tout de même 30–40 minutes si vous voulez un montage nickel.En usage, les alertes choc verrouillent bien les fichiers, la caméra est discrète et ne vibre pas. Pour la surveillance parking prolongée, il faudra ajouter un kit d’alimentation permanente (classique sur ce type de dashcam). L’adhésif tient très bien ; j’aurais simplement aimé une ventouse en option pour tester l’emplacement avant collage. Le son est correct sans plus, mais suffisant pour capter klaxons et impacts.

I’ve been using the dashcam for about a while, and it’s been really good so far. This is my first dashcam like this so I was glad that setup was quick and painless.I really like all the included features and a big one for me is the parking monitor that detects and records impacts.I set it up in the car and plugged it in, and it started working straight away. The video quality is really good during the day and clear at night, which is exactly what I hoped for.The app works well too. I can pull clips straight to my phone and I haven’t had any random disconnects or lag so far, which makes it a lot easier to review footage. I’ve only had to do minor adjustments so to get the best angle, and haven’t touched it since.Overall, I think it’s really good value for the money. Recommended.
