A great small speaker to give you high-quality audio in a smaller room
If you’re looking to add wireless speakers, etc. to your TV or other entertainment devices, Sonos is the way to go. Sonos is quite expensive, but you’re buying not only high-quality audio devices but also the flexibility of being wireless for sound and the interconnectedness of all the Sonos devices. The Sonos app recognizes all of your various devices and makes it easy for them to work together. You can assign devices to specific rooms or, if you want, set up a home audio network where music is played everywhere. The Sonos app also integrates access to Apple Music, Amazon Music, or just the Sonos music that they offer. For a home theater, starting with a Sonos soundbar opens the door for adding other Sonos speakers and a Sonos subwoofer. The sound bar, while using the Sonos application on your smartphone, will recognize other speakers and a subwoofer in the room. You also can configure the speakers to work separately, or they can be part of a surround sound system tied to the Sonos sound bar.The nice thing about each of the system audio components is that individually, you can touch the component (a speaker or soundbar for example) and control the room sound level, so you don’t always have to go to the Sonos app on your smartphone to do so.You can get great sound for your entertainment system without requiring a receiver and complicated wiring. Generally, you just need:• A power cable• An HDMI cable for connecting to a TV• Preferably an Ethernet cable so all the devices can work over your Wi-Fi network• The Sonos subwoofer can work wirelessly, without requiring an Ethernet cable connection which is optional

Excellent Sound, Thoughtful Design (with One Caveat)
The Sonos Era 100 delivers phenomenal sound quality—clear, rich, and powerful for its size. Whether you’re listening to music, podcasts, or streaming audio, the sound feels full and immersive. The Sonos app integration is seamless. It’s very easy to set up, pair with other Sonos speakers, and connect multiple streaming services all in one place. The app makes managing audio throughout the home simple and intuitive. The only downside is the size. While it looks sleek, it can be a bit difficult to conceal depending on where you plan to place it. If you’re looking for something more portable that can easily move from room to room, the Sonos Move may be a better option.Overall, if sound quality and a smooth user experience are your top priorities—and you have a good spot for it—the Era 100 is an excellent choice.

Solid Upgrade From Old Sonos Speakers
Great sounding speaker. We upgraded from some original Sonos Play speakers. While they were still doing a great job we wanted the benefit of stereo sound since a number of our speakers are the only speaker in the room. There’s a noticeably better sound to these speakers than the original Play speakers. I do wish they had traditional buttons instead of the touch buttons, so you don’t accidentally keep changing sound levels, etc. when you’re moving the speaker. One additional feature that I didn’t realize they had is that you can cast to them from your iPhone which makes watching videos or listening to music from your phone a lot more fun and enjoyable. They are slightly larger than the original Play 1 speakers, but not noticeably so. I do think they look better given they’re pure black or white as opposed to the two tone black/gray of the original speakers. The build quality in general is very solid. They’re heavy and feel strong. The bass is solid and sound is great. You can read and watch ample reviews on their quality. The Sonos app is still frustratingly slow and confusing, but I’m hoping that will improve over time. They do get pretty loud in my opinion so you could have just one speaker playing the audio for an entire room; however, I think they work better in a dual speaker setup – i.e. both sides or two corners of a room – to get a more full, immersive experience.I have other Sonos speakers and they place nicely with all of them. All said and done, I’m glad made the jump to upgrade the speakers and plan to use my old Play 1 speakers as outdoor patio speakers.

Really great and loud wifi speaker! I think you can also use it via Bluetooth but I have not tried that yet.I would mention the features and such but would ask anyone to click on my profile and check out my review on the Sonos Beam speaker as that should give an idea on what Sonos offers. For those just looking for a speaker to use around the house or plugged in at small house parties or such this small speaker provides quite the sound for its size. If you pair it with a sub or sub mini even more so.Especially on sale, I would say this beats out many other small speakers for its size and audio quality. The size is probably a close to medium sized sugar jar!
