Simply designed coffee cup with lid and warming plate at an attractive price.
When I inially turned this unit on there was a fragrance (not a cloud) coming from the unit. I remember reading the seller’s or maybe a buyer’s comments to allow the unit to heat for a while and the the fragrance would dissipate, That was the case, now I get only heat from the unit. I’m very pleased with this mug warmer. I filled my cup with coffee in the kitchen (143°) and brought it to the bedroom, after snacking a bit in the kitchen, and set it on the warmer. The coffee temp had dropped to 130° after I added sweetener and fat free half & half. I am a sipper, not a gulper, and my morning cup lasted about 40 minutes. During that time the coffee temperature increased to about 141° which is my ideal sipping temperature. Tomorrow I plan to warm my cup of coffee in the microwave to get a head start on the 141°: Needless, to say, i’m extremely pleased with this purchase. The mug is flat bottomed with a removable lid and appears to be ceramic. It cleans up very nicely. I tried one ceramic coffee cup of my own which is concave on the bottom and the temperature went to around 134°. The seller stated that the cup should have a flat bottom; however, all of our souvenir cups are concave on the bottom.

SO MUCH NICER THAN EXPECTED
Mug is the biggest surprise, sturdy, easy to hold, the heat distributing grid on the bottom is a plus although the heater works with almost all mugs, as long as they are mostly flat on the bottom, the variable heat settings are a good idea, so you can choose warm to piping hot. I have a 12 oz metal thermal mug and wanted to reheat my tea (it had been several hours later), I used this mug of Hubby’s because it’s low profile means I don’t have to take the rack out of the microwave to have it turn easily on the turntable (another plus for the mug) and was amazed that all but two sips fit in the mug, it must hold 10 oz. It heated easily in the microwave so it must have nice heat transfer. Hubby can work on his laptop, turn on his mug heater (warmer sounds too weak for the heat you can turn it up too) and have hot tea the entire time.

A lovely product!
I had been looking at these for awhile and found them all too expensive until this one popped up on sale. I was skeptical but purchased it anyway. The price was good and the quality is excellent. It keeps my coffee hot! I also use it for cocoa. The cup is pretty and comfortable. The lid keeps it extra hot and keeps it from evaporating if left too long.

Perfect, exactly as pictured.
Got this for my husband and he loves it. It keeps coffee nice and warm and even though there is metal in the bottom of the mug to conduct from the warmer, it can handle short bursts in the microwave too with no issues.
