Good product
Great product, works well. The only thing is that we did have to cut a little bigger hold in our door in order to make it fit. It was easy to set up and easy to use. It is convenient for our family.

Good quality, good price
There are a lot of these WiFi deadbolts available for purchase. I liked the ease of installation, the ease of following the instructions, and the overall operation of the locks. The only time I’ve had a problem with them was when the batteries got almost completely discharged the first time (6 months after install). I didn’t know they were so low because I turned off notifications, duh. Like the title says, these are a good quality, reliable deadbolt at a good price. Love them.

EXTRAORDINARY
I replaced a Yale lock that I could not connect to remotely. The lock has a separate plug into an outlet that facilitates connecting to Wi-Fi.Never work from the beginningThe keypad worked but not having access, defeated the whole purposeThe only reason I bought EUFY was the price. For under $100 it beats the Yale and the Schlag locks by $150 or moreIt is package beautifully. The instructions are simple and clear. And it was very easy to install. It was extraordinarily easy.It connected to Wi-Fi without a glitchI’m going to buy another one for the door opposite this. And then when I get back to our other home, I’m going to get one for our front door and replace the Yale lock. The yale like has to connect through wink. After I had it for about two years wink decided to start charging me five dollars a month.EUFY is a no-brainer. And now I’m going to look into more of their products.

Simple and effective but a battery hog
This is a nice lock with a quality look and feel. It has simple features that work well. The app is intuitive and not buggy. I was able to connect to WiFi and pair it to Alexa easily enough. We can remotely open or close the lock if needed and importantly check if it’s locked at night. Even better, we have it set to automatixally lock after a very period of time during the night hours. Notifications work well. The touch pad is sensitive and recognizes the code right away. The installation instructions were clear and had no issues swapping out the original deadbolt. Our house is about 20 years old. the deadbolt seems about as secure as the one it replaced. The unit does beep when inputting using the touch pad and when it locks and unlocks which sets off the dogs. There is a somewhat loud mechanical sound as the deadbolt is moving. The deadbolt latch on the inside does feel a little floppy – not in a non-secure way but it has slight play which is a minor knock on quality. The biggest drawback for me is the unit is a battery hog. Four double As seem to last only about 4-6 weeks before it will shut down WiFi. I let it go for several months without replacing them and it contined to work without WiFi, so that’s a plus. But without access to the app, it loses some key features of having a WiFi enabled device of course.

I’m not sure if I would recommend this one again.
At first, I absolutely loved this lock and recommended it to family and friends. It worked great in the beginning, connected smoothly to the app, and the keypad functioned without issues. However, after a few months, I started noticing subtle warning signs. The lock would randomly show “offline” in the app, even though the batteries were brand new and the keypad was still responsive. For about two weeks, I kept hearing a faint beeping sound but couldn’t figure out where it was coming from.Eventually, the lock completely failed. It would no longer connect to the app, and when I checked the battery compartment, there was visible corrosion forming. This wasn’t a battery issue — it was clearly the lock itself.I live in Florida, so humidity may have contributed, but a lock designed for exterior use should be able to withstand normal weather conditions. Unfortunately, I had to replace it entirely with a newer model.I’m disappointed because I genuinely liked it at first. Just sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision.

Quality design and unbeatable price!
I recently purchased this Eufy door lock on a whim because I needed a quick replacement for my broken Kwikset automatic lock. I had heard of Eufy before and knew their products were solidly made without a ridiculous price tag, so I decided to give it a try. And man, what a great spur-of-the-moment decision! Especially since we all know those impulse purchases don’t always work out.Pros:• Sturdy and Durable: The lock looks great and feels incredibly solid, like it could withstand a lot of wear and tear.• Easy Installation: You don’t need to be a handyman to install this. The process was straightforward, especially since my door was already pre-cut and universally sized.• Straightforward Connectivity: Setting up the smart features was pretty simple. While some tech-savviness might help, it’s not a difficult process—just follow a few basic in-app steps, and integrating it with our Alexa ecosystem was smooth.• Convenient Code Management: I love how easy it is to add and remove multiple entry codes. This is super handy for us, especially when we need a dog sitter during our trips.Cons:• Aesthetic Size Preference: If I had to nitpick, I wish the lock was slightly larger, purely for aesthetic reasons.• Loose Turn Knob: The manual turn knob feels a bit loose. I tried making adjustments, but it seems like a manufacturing design rather than something related to my setup. However, once locked, the deadbolt is secure, which is the most important thing.• Hold-to-Confirm Feature: I’m not a fan of the “hold to confirm” feature for locking the door. It’s not a huge deal, but having to hold the button for a few seconds to lock the door can be a little annoying, especially when you’re in a hurry. I wish there were more in-app options to adjust this, allowing for an instant lock with just a single tap.Overall:I’m really impressed with this Eufy door lock. It’s been a great addition to our home, and I’ll definitely consider purchasing more Eufy products in the future!

This lock is advertised as capable of locking/unlocking via BT. This is not true. The customer service I contacted claimed application unlocking is what is meant by BT but it is not BT, it is wifi unlocking and clearly needs a connection to the company server. In other words, one has to be connected to the internet to unlock it from within application. After I stated this simply fact the agent got disconnected.

Like this, had it a few months now and like the way it works and sends notifications when door is locked and unlocked.

I use this one for all my units. And it’s really good. For those who expirince often disconnect ussues. It cause your wifi router is bad. It works perfectly on 2.4 GHz network channel 1. If you router starts messing with frequencies or jumping on channels, the connection will be lost. Other than that no issues at all. Works very stable, doesn’t drain battery. Honestly, nothing to complain about. And app is quite good. It’s reliable and always works.
