I prefer the garlic rocker over the garlic press.
Garlic Press Rocker, purchased November 2025 for $5.99 before tax.I rocked and pressed. I used a paper plate instead of a cutting board.Elephant Garlic – I take the thick dry skin off of the garlic cloves, cut them down to a normal garlic clove size, freeze in a single layer, then place in a glass air tight container in the freezer. Using this rocker – I set the garlic out to defrost. I found the garlic clove has a very thin soft skin. The rocker works if the cut side of the garlic is up, the skin ends up on the bottom of the rocker, just peel it off OR keep rocking & pressing to break up the skin. I was able to crush one right after another. It might squirt juice. I like that it came out like bumpy mush, sounds bad but I think it works well for cooking. I did feel like a lot of garlic was left in the holes, although most of it came through. I found if I tap the side of the metal on the plate it came out easily. I didn’t need the brush to clean it; my hand, the dish cloth, and running water worked well. I have a garlic press, what I don’t like is trying to fit the garlic cloves in the little bucket, then some garlic stays along the sides of the bucket and I have to keep pressing that garlic down. In the end I really like this rocker, it was quicker than the press. I didn’t have fresh garlic to try.Ginger – I use a potato peeler (cut away from yourself) to take off the skin, cut it down to a usable size, freeze in a single layer, then place in a glass air tight container in the freezer. Using this rocker – I set the ginger out to defrost. It smashed the ginger and very few parts came through the holes, it just smashed it flat and squirted a lot. In the end I will likely use the ginger as is or grate it. I didn’t have fresh ginger to try.

Exelent Garlic Press
Excellent garlic press, very practical and easy to use. Its rocker design and ergonomic handle allow you to crush garlic effortlessly. The 304 stainless steel feels sturdy and of good quality, and it’s very easy to clean with the included brush. Ideal for saving time in the kitchen and getting finely crushed garlic quickly.

Nice idea but wastes half the garlic
I really wanted this item to work. It was such a great idea and it seemed like it would make it much easier to crush garlic. I tried it on four different cloves and no matter how much effort I put into pressing down and rock the press, only about half of each clove would crush and come through the holes while the other half just got flattened out on the outside of the press and was unusable. It was just too wasteful. I do better just chopping it up myself with a knife or using the old fashioned garlic press with the handles. This was definitely a waste of money and I don’t intend to use it again.

I have tried many garlic bites and this is the one that has worked best for me, it is spectacular, because on the sides you can soften the garlic, and then crush it and it is excellent. It is fast, easy to use and extremely easy to clean. It’s spectacular 👌🏼

To small for large hand
Way to hard to press, wide could not put enought pressure. I weigh 200 lbs. Work out. I had to bang and press on chopping board to make it work.

Honestly, this product delivers on its promises. It’s a great help in my kitchen, and it’s made of good quality metal, as is the plastic handle, which makes it very comfortable to use. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Not as efficient as a standard garlic press
This is not a great purchase. I really wanted to love this, but it just really doesn’t cut through the garlic very well. I have to apply so much pressure. It seems much easier to just pop a clove into a press or chop with a knife.
